The food was very good. The omelette was fire. The service by Vivien was super good, she was real nice.
My husband and I decided to have a nice breakfast after our wedding reception so we went to Mimi's. Hubby ordered the quiche... Lorraine. It was a huge failure! First of all it was a very small pie, no more than1/4 inch deep, but the bigger problem was howovercooked it was. It was so hard that only the middle of the pie was even edible. I showed this to our server, the difficulty Ihad cutting this pie. I said it's just like a frozen pie that someone over microwaved. She admitted that they are pre-made andthen microwaved, which would have been okay if it was properly done. She asked if we wanted another pie, the answer to that wasNo thanks. She walked away without offering another solution. My husband's breakfast was so bad that I couldn't even enjoy mine.The coffee was also lukewarm. She brought out ticket with both meals. His meal should have been taken off, in my opinion when Itried to cut the pie in front of her it was so hard that part of it flew off the plate when I managed to cut it! I have toprepare my husband's food because he is legally blind. Worst breakfast experience ever!!! My husband, ever the gentleman, stillleft the waitress a 12% tip that she certainly didn't deserve. ***updated, I was around the city and I give a try again, this time was different, breakfast was good just one thing, update you... way of payment, not receiving wallet payment? Google payment? Samsung payment? Apple payment.......... I had always liked goingto this restaurant, even though it is outdated, it is cozy and the food is good, but today's service was terrible, the hostesstook us to a table that we did not like, we asked for another one and with bad attitude, she told us that we would have to wait10 more minutes to have the table ready, they were empty, we did not understand why to wait, we waited and nothing, we asked ifshe was doing it on purpose and she said that the table was not ready yet but with mucking face, we left here disappointed,without eating and we entered the cracker barrel with much better attention, that makes a difference when they receive you well,it's nice. Savory was delicious. Bathroom was a mess Daniel the manager made sure it was tended to...... but the person who was hired who... took to cleaning, didn't do a good job. Someone was obviously overpaid and a lousy job. I was in and out of the facility 3times. Checking. THREE TIMES! FIRE THAT person who does not value getting paid, no pride, no work ethics. Read more
Husband and I decided to get breakfast , and I always love coming to Mimis they have the best customer service. Our server... Vivien was AWESOME she really took care of us. Always attentive to our needs, pleasant attitude and made our breakfast superenjoyable! Breakfast is delicious and personally I'm not a breakfast type of girl but mimis breakfast is really yummy. The waittime wasn't bad only waited 5 minutes and it was kind of packed but people where going in and out so it cleared up super fast.Mimosas where strong food was great atmosphere was good definitely our breakfast place to go! First time coming to this particular location of Mimi's. We came for breakfast at 8:30am. Food was good but service was slow.... Can't say I did not expect that due to the hiring sign in front of the place saying every position is needed. Overall theexperience was good, probably will wait for them to hire more staff before coming again. Read more
