Cesar salad was over saturated in dressing to the point where the lettuce was soggy. Chicken wings are over priced and lack... meat/sauce. Pretzel bites were questionable at best. Service was good, food was terrible. Read more
I've heard the take out was good so I was excited to visit for indoor dining. I found the service to be okay... There were times... I wished my server would pop in to check on us or to offer us water but he was usually at another table texting or eatingdinner. I've worked in food so I completely understand sometimes your break requires you to be in the dining room if you don'thave a staff room. Since this was my first time I was torn of what to choose but narrowed it down to two items. I asked myserver what he recommended and he suggested a bowl, which I requested to remove the jalapenos since I can't eat spicy foods. Thefood came pretty quickly but after mixing my bowl together I found it to be very spicy and neither I or my guest could eat it. Iwaited a several minutes hoping my server would pop in and instead called over a different server and she explained that thejerk sauce was spicy. Turns out my server never had this menu item which was disappointing to hear. The restaurant was greatabout it and comped my food. This would be great if your a regular and know the menu. Had lunch today, it was great. Their kids menu had a good selection. They had a whole colouring book and a lunch box of crayons... for us when we asked. The kids pizza came out looked and smelled great. Maybe needed a bit more sauce, other then that wasgreat. Had a burger and the sweet thang poutine was which was large and delicious. When we forgot our kids takeout box, ourserver Sam ran out to us in the parking lot with it. Was over all a great lunch Have come a handful of times. Fish and chips isalways a favourite dill is in almost every part of it! They have an extremely large beer selection, but if you want fruitydrinks or canned/bottled coolers it?s not the place for you. I've been to Iggy's a few times and it never fails to please. They have a great selection of craft beer on tap and some... delicious ciders. They also have some excellent wines to offer as well. Today I ordered the Backyard BBQ Burger with sweetpotato fries and it was utterly delicious. 6oz beef patty, bacon and pulled pork with slaw and BBQ ranch. It was a meat-loversdream! My boyfriend ordered the Big Iggy poutine which tastes like a Big Mac! He couldn't even finish it all, which says a lotbecause my boyfriend is a fridge carp. I would have given 5 stars, but the service can be a little lackluster because our tablewas skipped a couple times when we had been there for a while and were eager to order food. Horrible experience, waitress was as animated as a wet towel, barely spoke above a whisper. Couldn?t tell me what kind of wine... they had, she left to look at the bottle, I couldn?t hear what she said, so sad Menu was poor, what comes with the burgers?
