I have eaten at this location many times and it never fails to impress. I don?t Know what kind of magic they put in their... margaritas but they are more delicious every time and the food and experience only gets better. Expect to be disappointed with their lack of customer service. I do not know if I happened to pick a bad day for the staff... there, but I ordered pick-up and no one was wanting to acknowledge our presence. Among other items, we ordered a side of riceand another side of beans. We had no idea that the $5.00 charge for each would amount to approx. 8 oz of rice and 8 oz of beans.Hardly worth the price and the overall bad attitudes from the waitstaff that assisted me, after waiting around for them toapproach me...they were less than courteous. Absolutely the best chili Verde I ever had!!!! And the Carne asada Botana plate was amazing
First time after a recommendation from Beth at Pilates Club. Had the taquitos dorados with the crunch taco de carne desebrada. I... would come back just for the salsa and chips. Taquitos were freshly made and the beef was juice full of flavor. The same for thehard taco freshly made and all the toppings fresh. My guacamole was a bit hard but I?ll blame that on the difficulty to haveripe avocados 24-7. Restrooms clean and overall great atmosphere while eating. Read more
Really good! Loved the ranchera salsa! Enchilada was average. Grilled chicken was excellent. The atmosphere was great! I loved... that they were kinda high tech. Their portable payment machines and stuff was cool. Only downside is two cokes, a two itemcombination plate, and tiny guacamole was $41.00 after tax and tip. That's unreasonable. Read more
The place is small, clean, nice atmosphere and service is friendly and attentive. It's a Mexican place and everything in the... restaurant ties nicely into that theme. Prices are a little on the high side, but the dishes and presentation are aboveaverage. Only place in this strip mall that's actually busy, so that's telling. Read more
El Ranchito food used to be outstanding. The last 3 visits in 2 months time has been devastating. Do not know the reason but... both locations in Foothill Ranch and Lake Forest has been degraded in food and services. Read more
