My wife and I LOVE Annie's!! They're by far the best Indian in Lynchburg (and trust me, I know Indian food). I haven't had a... single negative experience in the multiple times I've gone. Whether it's to-go, dine -in or to-go-turned-dine-in! It's always agreat time and the owners are sweet and kind. It isn't your typical American - Indian joint (which makes it better in myopinion) but there's no doubt that once you go Annie's, you'll never look back. Honestly the best Indian food I have had. The couple the runs Annie's is so welcoming from the moment you enter. You are made... to feel like an honored guest and they do a great job of making sure you are pleased with the entire experience. The food isreally the icing on the cake. The curry melts in your mouth and has just the right amount of heat. The balance of spices isincredible. Every bite is a taste treat. The food is so good that I eat too much, but with absolutely no regrets. This placeis going to be a staple for lunches and dinners in the future! Read more
My boyfriend and I randomly decided we wanted to try this place out. I absolutely loved it. Especially since I?m not familiar... with this type of food! We both enjoyed our experience very much so! Absolutely amazing food, and a very homely attitude. Prince was amazing, and was very enthusiastic about serving us his homemade... dishes. As a 3rd generation chef, this man knows his culinary. The food was amazing, very flavorful, and I felt like I wassitting in a home more than a restaurant. His personality is very extroverted, and he was very excited to share most of what hehad to offer that day, as well as took the time to show us some amazing traditions, like how the meals are eaten in his cultureat the table, and how to prepare your plate. Robust spices meet very buttery flavorful sauces, meats always cooked tender, theatmosphere definitely matches the food. I have a permanent place to get the best Southern style Indian around, and will bemaking sure to put plenty more trips in to this place. My wife heard about Annie's Indian Kitchen from a co-worker that advised if we enjoy Indian cuisine this place is a must. We... love food from various cultures and enjoy trying new restaurants. Today we decided to venture into Annie's. The firstimpression is that this restaurant is strictly take out, but the eat in area is in the back. The chef/owner met us with asmile, made some recommendations and gave us samples to try to ensure we would be satisfied with the selections. Once weordered, we went to the back and sat down. Someone already pointed out the type of dinnerware you receive, however the taste ofthe food and the hospitality of the owner and staff were wonderful! Prince does like to make recommendations on how to eat thedishes he presents. For us, this was interpreted as being passionate about his food. Honestly, this was the best Indian foodwe have had in Lynchburg! We ordered the Chicken Chili, fresh caught salmon with a butter curry sauce, rice, bread and yogurtsauce. It was all AMAZING! One thing to note when ordering is that food items are ordered separately which is where the costcan increase. We plan to return and enjoy their cuisine again! Read more

A scrumptious and wholesome, family friendly dining experience! We loved the home cooked kitchen feeling and the family style... seating. Getting to sample the curries before we decided on our order was awesome. The food was SO GOOD. The flavors were enoughto make a pregnant lady cry happy tears. The games and music were 10/10 for our family. This is definitely our new favorite grubspot in Lynchburg. Thank you!!! Read more
