It was slightly busy when we arrived but that is no excuse for how terrible the service was. The waitress would take one persons... order and then tey to immediately walk away. Our drink orders came out wrong. We ordered and appetizer that came out after wewere done with the main course, we were told the bartender was too busy with other things to make the additional drinks we hadordered. Good price but flavor lacking on 3 soft ground beef tacos I just ordered. Seemed like the beef was just cooked with no... seasoning. No tomatoes/pico in the tacos and the lettuce was the white part of iceberg. So pretty low flavor only the unexpectedsalsa (with chips) in the bag saved them. Salsa is good recipe. The person that cooked the beef and prepared the tacos - maybeb/c it was ordered at 3:20 PM in afternoon needs a cooking/seasoning lesson. I’ve been hearing about this place for years and finally gave them a shot recently. Overall the food was excellent! Everyone... enjoyed their dish but I think the burrito Jalisco was the standout in flavor and presentation. They also make a banging,homemade hot sauce that came at no charge. That smoky tomatillo flavor is a crucial piece of the puzzle I’m knocking a starbecause the chips were on the stale side and the corn tortillas had an odd flavor. This food was not even remotely good. I ordered queso fundido and couldn't even stomach it. I tried multiple times but... ultimately threw it away. Honestly, the regular cheese dip wasn't good either. It was really thick and gritty. I did, however,eat the chile rellenos. They were at least decent. Service was the only thing not great. Food was outstanding. Tacos el pastor, had great flavor. Chips and salsa were homemade and... very tasty. I guess the woman that seated us was having a rough day or something, and she ended up being our waitress aswell.
