This is insulting. 9:38p we placed an order. 10:15p we got a call that food is ready 10:31p I come in the woman I spoke with is... not there a man just keeps yelling at me “I don’t know” brings out a print out of my order points at it aggressively andkeeps yelling “I don’t know”. Shooting from the hip because I literally arrived here without looking at all of the reviews. For starters, this restuarant... closes at 1 a.m., you have got to admire the dedication of being able to provide higher than average food when popeyes and whitecastle isn't matching your palette late at night. The main contact for the store was cordial, cash only. However, they nowhave Zelle as an option, so that's the middle ground compromise for people ordering takeout. I was there to pick it up so thedelivery time is out of the equation, only the time from the order being placed, and how long to took for the food to beprepared. Maybe I was cutting it close at 11:42 p.m. after looking at all of these reviews of the 2 hour wait times, butI've managed to receive the food around 12:16 for three meals. Alright not bad, off to a decent start. So I ordered the padsee eew. Portion size is generous, unless you people want to be specific about the meat. If so, fair enough, $16 for 6pieces of shrimp does invoke a wanting for more, maybe I'll have some better luck with chicken? The noodles itself was alittle dry, but the sauce did manage to bring it back in terms of taste. It was too sweet, but manageable (unless you are adiabetic). Overall, you would be surprised, Nine Thai just made 4 stars. Bad customer service is Impossible if theinteraction time is lowered to a degree (perhaps that's the best method for them), they made up for their shortcomings on cashonly with zelle, and even if it was once in a blue moon moment, my food was ready in 30 minutes. Remember as you read this, it's probably the best you can manage at 12:30 at night if you want something decent. They lose one star due to the fact thatthe option to pay for extra meat, (in my opinion), was probably the portion size the meat was supposed to be in the first place. Read more
Very unprofessional management running this place now. I placed order on phone at 8 PM and was told pickup at 9 PM. Yes a full... hour! When I reached there I see the chef is waiting outside to handover someone else's DoorDash order. He's not even started tocook my order yet. So I call owner and she's telling me that she's short staffed so my order will take longer. By now I amfurious... she should have let me know beforehand and I would have ordered somewhere else. Now it's almost 9:15 PM and I amstranded with no food. Fortunately for me Bangkok Thai got my order ready in 12 minutes. So now am done with this shady businesscalled Nine Thai. Read more
Placed an order for pick up, and drove 15 minutes to the restaurant. I walked in not expecting the order to be done, but at... least for it to be started, but the restaurant claimed they just received it. After I picked up the delayed order, I go home andopen my curry to find a hair sitting right in the sauce. Won’t be ordering again. Read more
First off I have to say I love the fact that this restaurant is one of few restaurants that stay open late. The few times I have... ordered take out the food been so delicious and fresh. The drunken noodles is amazing. The owner is very nice and friendly. Sheintroduced me to watermelon Mountain Dew and now I like having it with my food. Read more
I called this restaurant to place an order, the lady there was in SUCH a RUSH to take the order information, and mentioned she... would call back for the card information and was so quick to hang up thereafter. Now, I understand restaurants can be busy, buther hastiness was just sooooo rude and unprofessional… I literally wasn’t sure if she even processed the correct order. Iassume the staff and cook is limited, as in the past though I live only 2 blocks away, it took over TWO HOURS for the food to beready and delivered. Considering my past experience and the hastiness in the recent call, I then called back to cancel theorder… she did not STOP to LISTEN to what I was saying but kept yelling on the top of her lungs and proceeded to call me aliar in saying that she wasn’t rushing on the first call made to place the order!!! She also made it very clear that I shouldnever call back… all whilst I was being very respectful and trying to explain myself. My goodness, she certainly did not haveto tell me never to call back… believe me, I WONT!!! This was GUARANTEED THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTITUDE for someonewho runs a business and NEEDS customers and good reviews to be in good standing. Mediocre food, small portions, pricy and super long wait for said mediocre food! We were the only people in the restaurant, yet... it took approximately 20 minutes for 2 appetizers and about 30 minutes for our main entrees! Definitely would not recommendespecially if you're starving and want to eat! Read more
Horrible customer service. We ordered take out for over a hundred dollars and the owner declined to give us food because she... didn’t like the way my wife spoke to her. She said it’s her restaurant and she can do whatever she wants. She did not refundthe money either. I am having to dispute it through my bank. Avoid this restaurant. She deserves to have it shut down. Read more
