We ordered a half sausage and half pepperoni pizza at the Forest Lake, MN location. It was amazing. I would definitely recommend... their pizza. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the restaurant inside needs to be updated. It is old & not lit upvery well. Read more
This is hands down, the best pizza in the forest lake area. They have the best thin crust (probably in the Twin Cities) and use... an authentic sauce that's delicious! It reminds me of the sauce that my Italian Grandma from Brooklyn used to make from scratchfor her pizza's - it doesn't get better than that that! Thank you Carbone's, for keeping it REAL! I love Carbone's. I like my pizza with a thin crust, fresh veggies and cheese that stretches. I love round pizza cut into... squares. I don't know why but I do. I love to eat the crispy edge pieces first while the inside pieces cool. I do my best tostop myself before becoming uncomfortablly full. Here in the Midwest we have a good handful of pizza places to choose but inother states finding good pizza is a challenge so whenever I am home for a visit I make sure to get pizza a couple times. Good service, great pizza! This was our first visit. We came on a Saturday night at about 8:15. Seated promptly and food came... quickly. We ordered the pizza fries appetizer (basically garlic butter and cheese on a crust) and a large special. The appetizerwas fantastic!! The crust was buttery and garlicky and crispy. Soooooo good! The pizza was great as well. Plenty of toppings andloaded to the edge. Server was great, checked on us often, and she kept our drinks full. Will definitely be back! Read more
