This was our first time there. Me and my fiance food was amazing. The only thing unsettling was they charged us for extra salsa... sauce and chips for the chips they gave us...???.. they were skimpy on the meat for the price (chicken, steak and shrimp fajita,I ordered) It looks like a lot, But is was all peppers and onions at the bottom. Wow! What an amazing restaurant. It was an amazing experience. I tried their new mole trio and it was just amazing and it’s a... must for everyone. The drinks were really good. Even as a busy restaurant they still tried to have my order in right away. Mywaiter was really good as well I think her name was Alejandra and was really nice! Many choices to stop... for tacos, burritos or tortas in the area, once you taste the quality, you'll keep coming back for more. Taco platters from$12.50, 3 tacos with rice and beans. We tried the trio of shrimp empanadas with red chili sauce and couldn't stop raving aboutthe taste. Filled with fresh shrimp, and paired with chopped cabbage with the mole sauce. Yum! Entree was a Chochinita Pibilburrito, full of tender roasted flavor. Carnivores rejoice as they are chocked full of meat rather than filler... Drinks arestandard Mexican beers, tasty margaritas and bottled sodas, all available to go. We'll be back to Mexican Republic Restaurantfor Sunday brunch with endless mimosas and entree for $29. Hands down the best tacos my husband and I have ever tried!!! The Asada(steak) and Pollo(chicken) were amazing and we can't wait... to make our way through their menu! We also got the taquitos which were very good, the salsa/chips which were so unique andyummy, and my husband got the brisket in mole coloradito which was very tender and good but not the tastiest mole he's hadbefore. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Mexican cuisine!! Read more
