Went on Wednesday for burger night after our volleyball team won some games. Great beer selection, yummy burger, got a nice... little dessert too. The food here is pretty simple, but good. The place seems to have a "simple is life" vibe overall. Though this wasn't quite my... style, it might actually be perceived as an advantage for many. The service was great ???? P.S. I bet if I was a sportsaficionado and came in during some sport event (and if I cared none at all about masking in a closed public room, and such) thenI'd be totally into this place and would give it the full 5 stars. This was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't completely empty when we walked in. The menu is different from what's on the website. I... came in thinking I would have the fried chicken Monday special. But it wasn't offered. Both the hub and I went for the primeburger. I had it with Cole slaw he had it with fries. Nothing disappointed. The Cole slaw was made differently than we evertasted and we guessed all the ingredients except the garlic. The burger was quite tasty - though I couldn't finish mine, hedowned everything. I took mine home with every intention of eating it later but that didn't happen. Guess we'll just have to goback. Menu on website does not match takeout menu. Ordered a chili & a LARGE caesar salad as per their wording. They were out of... chili so I was refunded for that. The salad had chicken in the picture online so I thought I was getting chicken. My oversightis my bad on the chicken but the serving of salad I got is barely enough for a small bowl. The lettuce was wilted & they threwtwo random croutons in there. So I was basically charged $11 for a side salad and a bad one at that. Won't be patronizingagain. Read more
Ordered carryout online and left a nice tip ahead as I appreciate restaurant employees-especially during covid. Upon arrival a... guy eating at the bar looked at me. Unaware he was an employee I didn't say much. Not very welcoming at all. He finally asked mewhat I was there for and I told him I had a pickup order and gave him my name. He walked over to where the carryout food wasplaced and pointed to a bag and said "here" then walked back to the bar. W will continue supporting businesses in the ForestPark, Oak Park, River Forest area that are welcoming and friendly as they deserve our business. This will no longer be one ofthem. Read more
The food is delivered via scale miniature train. Very fun and interesting place with heat food priced right. Totally geared for... families. Read more
