Absolutely delicious, everything on the menu we ate was flavorful and well balanced. You can taste the chef's passion and love... for food. Nothing was heavy or over powering. Would absolutely recommend if you're in the area. Staff was also super friendlyand accomodating to our sizable sized party of 7. Read more

Both times I ate here were celebrations, but I think any day becomes a celebration with food this good. Very authentic Italian... food, created by a charming Italian chef., Served in a lovely setting. A changing, seasonal menu reflects the season, but allthe pasta is hand extruded and served fresh, the meats are perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the bits and bites in between aregiven the same attention to detail as the mains. The wine selection includes unique Italian varieties as well as the chefsfavorite local bottles. This place is special, and prices reflect that. Service is casual and slow by American standards, butnormal compared to my experiences in Italy, creating time to savor and converse. The setting is pure West Sonoma charm, with arustic, intimate interior and a charming back patio. Read more

WOW! What a delightful dinner experience! Our server was sensational! I got their price fixed several course dinner... magnificently paired with tasty wines. We sat outside with our very well behaved dog under a stunning redwood and surrounded bygreenery with a romantic fire. Such a lovely space! The chef is quite talented! Everything was extraordinary and beautifullypaired with wines! To start he made a chilled cantaloupe soup with salmon roe and I have to admit that I didn?t know what toexpect but it was so incredibly delicious. Compliments to the chef! We are coming back next time we are in the area! Read more

Authentic, deliciously fresh and creative food. We especially loved the pear and gorgonzola starter, and the squid ink sea food... pasta. The pasta is made fresh on site by the Tuscan chef, said our charming and sociable waiter. Staff was friendly anddelightful, and the ambiance was enchanting. We LOVED the outdoor seating, where you can sit under the pergola, or in the glowof the forested patio. We're only in the area for four days, but we will return one more time before we go. Read more

Great atmosphere. Lonnnnng wait between dishes which we like but could annoy some parties The food was okay except for the... dessert we regretted ordering. The wine list had a $8 glass of red wine which o thought was rare in Sonoma but the pour was sosmall, I ended up ordering 2 ($16 total). WARNING In very small print, they tell you an automatic 9% is added to the bill forthe back kitchen, so if you tip %20 , you end up paying a nearly 30% addition to your bill! Really!! Not going back. Our experience started with a reservation for 4, when we arrived we were asked to use cleanser on our hands prior to being... seated, no problem. As we made our way to check the patio status two more groups of patrons arrived and were taken to tableswithout being asked to use the cleanser, after we were seated at least 3 more groups came in and also were seated without havingto sanitize their hands as well as receiving their meals prior to ours which put us in a position of feeling singled out andshowed a lack of communication amongst the staff. Once seated inside, the patio was busier than we preferred, our waitressoffered us water. We waited for over 20 min before being checked on again and having our orders taken, it was another 30 minbefore our side dishes arrived which were fabulous tasting but the amount served was not worth the $12.50 each price. The 3 maincourses arrived, the quail which was absolutely fantastic and worth the price the other 2 meals the yellow fin tuna andcarbenero while both cooked to absolute perfection were both quite skimpy in serving size for the cost of each plate. We alsohad to go to the Chef and ask for parmesan cheese and more water since our waitress was MIA. Overall other than the consistencyof the food from my last visit to this one was spot on, unfortunately the service and the high cost and small serving sizesbrought our experience down to such a low that I doubt we will be back. Went to try their tasting menu. Nice atmosphere good service. I liked most of the items on the menu. I did order the panna cotta... with strawberries and blackberries separately, as it is a favorite dessert of mine, but I was very disappointed when it arrivedwith no berries, and instead had cantaloupe with chocolate on top. Not a fan. I ended up taking it home and having it withberries at my house. It did taste great then. But I wish the server would have told me when I ordered it that it would notarrive as advertised. The pork belly with black rice was amazing, probably my favorite dish of the night. The pasta was so-so,the cantaloupe shot with caviar was surprisingly amazing. For me, the tiramisu was not great, however it was my fiances favoritedish. The quail was very good. The foccacina with prosciutto and mascarpone was very dry and tasteless, definitely my leastfavorite. Overall it was a good dining experience. I would return for certain plates. But I would be aware menu items may notarrive as described in the menu, which I don't think should happen without warning. Especially for the prices. Read more
