Based on my recent visit, it appears that the place is severely struggling and looks like it is on the brink of shutting... down. They hardly had anything available on the BBQ menu. I initially ordered a three meat plate with ribs, brisket and chickensausage, and was told they only had pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. I changed my order to only ribs and brisket. Afterchanging my order to accommodate the limited choices they said they did have available (which wasn't much) and after paying forit, the worker in the kitchen came out after I had been waiting for a while and said that they were also out of ribs and onlyhad a little brisket left. They asked if I would accept wings instead to make up for it. After begrudgingly making a secondchange to my order, the worker came out yet again later and asked me what sides I wanted, so I repeated that again. There washardly any BBQ sauce condiments available to take, and they only had bottled water and a few Coke cans in their refrigerator tochoose from to drink. After getting home, I did not enjoy my meal at all. The brisket was overcooked and the wings appeared tobe cooked too hot and too fast (the outside was fried hard but some on the inside were pink and didn't appear to be done) so Iended up throwing most of my meal away. I hate I wasted the time. In hindsight, as soon as I ordered initially, my gut wastelling me to leave, but I ordered anyway. Had I not already paid and committed, I would've walked out. I should've followedmy gut initially. At the end of the day, I'm disappointed because I've been here several times both before and during thepandemic, and I was generally satisfied. Now I don't believe I will ever return. Read more

I ordered from this place through UberEats. It was my first time ordering from them, and I must say I am pretty disappointed.... The prices are too high for the portions they give you. The biggest disappointment was the beef brisket. The portion was sosmall they put it in the small to-go container. And on top of that, it was mostly a big hunk of fat - hardly any meat at all.The ribs were really small too. Not worth the $22.49 they charged for a half-slab through the app. The soul rolls (steak andcheese inside an egg roll), looked nothing like the photo either. It was mostly a bunch of bread with a tiny bit of meat inside. The only item that was worth the portion size was the nachos, but they were only so-so taste-wise. Speaking of taste: the Frenchfries were loaded with salt (they would?ve been really good with a lot less or no salt), the greens were loaded with vinegar, the mac & cheese was decent, the potato salad was horrible, the ribs were flavorful but the brisket was not, the soul rollswould?ve been better if they had meat in them (the two tiny chunks that were in each piece were so small you?d miss them in thesea of bread do not count), and the fried shrimp was probably the best thing we ordered. Bottom line, I will not be orderingfrom this place ever again. It is not worth it. Read more
