I really liked their tuna salad sandwich. It was fresh without mayo or any kind of sauce added to it.
I don?t write many reviews, but this place is a treat. The staff is always lovely and welcoming. Both the inside and outside... have great atmosphere while embracing the original quirks of the building. The exposed brick and floor tiles come to mind. Thefood items I?ve had are mostly the sweet pastries like the danishes, cinnamon rolls, loaves, etc. in conjunction with an icedlatte. The pastries are airy, buttery perfection. The flavored lattes aren?t made with house-made syrups, but this isn?t a craftcoffee shop. Regardless, their espresso is still smooth and steps above Starbucks. Their focus and specialty is their bakery, atleast in my opinion. They are rightly shining in that category. 10/10. Read more
The Forney site is the original but they are expanding to a 4th location soon. I've known that they have great desserts for... years but just recently that they have a great selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. The photo is of a half roast beefsandwich and half of a harvest salad. I thought I would like the sandwich better but the salad stole the show. If you want aquick healthy lunch, you owe it to yourself to try the Latham Bakery. Read more
Love this little place. This is the second visit for me and my husband. I had a full Original Club sandwich with chips and could... only eat half, it was delicious and pretty good sized. I also had a hot chocolate bomb, to say it was yummy is anunderstatement. The cookies are delectable and the pineapple upside down cake is top notch! I?m giving 5 ?? and will definitelyvisit again. The only negative about the place is the limited number of tables to eat at in a cold day. Read more
Poor customer service!! Came in and woman at the table seemed "surprised" to see me (this is why I avoid small towns). Then I... proceeded to wait for the two workers in the back to acknowledge that I and another customer came in. After the fakepleasantries from the worker, she proceeded to pack my muffin upside down. I mean who does that!? Someone who apparently doesn'tcare. After bad customer service, I don't expect the food to taste good ????. Read more
"An absolute gem!" I love this bakery and cafe. Was looking for a perfect mocha and wasn't disappointed. The pastries were a... bonus and yes, everything tastes as good as it looks. Clean and well kept. Very friendly, personable staff. Steady stream ofcustomers. Historic building with a hint of modern design; rustic with updates. Smooth coffee, sweet bundt cakes, moist cakeballs. Highly recommend going there! Read more
My daughter?s birthday cake came out so beautiful, even better than I?d hoped! I found the little decorations online and they... did the most beautiful job decorating the rest!
