BEWARE!!!!! I have found that when I place a take-out dinner, the order taker frequently makes errors in both the quantities... and the actual menu items I ordered. I am now opening and checking the take-out container to verify the dinners are what I haveordered before I leave. Also, I am verifying the actual order I made to the receipt. My wife and I always get the sour cream chicken enchiladas. We may be a bit boring for not trying more new things, but we always... come back for that comfort food. Consistently good flavors and service. Sometimes we dine in, and other times we take out. Thesalsa may be a bit cumin-y but it's tasty! I'll take that over boring stuff out of a jar any day! We?ve been a customer of Rio Lerma for quite some time we live in Forney but we prefer to go to the Terrell location. Our server... Sandra did an outstanding job I was craving enchiladas Verdes with sour cream and cheese which was not on the menu but she madeit happen. Thank you for the great experience we?ll definitely be back. For us, this is the best Mexican place in Forney! They have Margarita nights if you?re into that, they say the drinks are very... good. We go there for the food and have never been disappointed. The Service is alway good. The Shrimp cocktail is one of myfavorites but We have probably tried most everything on the menu and have always been pleased. Read more
I used to love this place...spent so much money there. Tonight I placed an order to go over $100. Order was wrong, we called... they said they'd replace, then called us back and said they wouldn't because an "order checker" had checked the order before itwent out. When I told them it was hard to tell with a quick glance between the chicken and cheese enchiladas and we got thewrong one and simply wanted the right order, they argued with me! I am done with this place. I took a group there Saturday andspent $200...so in 5 days they've gotten over $300 of my money, and apparently they have no idea what customer service means. Came in for some drinks only heard this place had some good margaritas. Wasn't disappointed they have to be one of the few I've... ever had that you can actually taste the liquor. I had the beerita and my wife the sangria margarita both were awesome. Wedid try the ceviche and was pretty good . We'll need to come back and try the food I'm sure it's just as great.
