The ribs were excellent, meaty but not fatty. I ordered a two meat meal, chicken and ribs. I expected bone-in chicken as shown... on their menu. Instead I got shredded chicken that would have been tasteless if it wasn't drowned in heavily peppered barbecuesauce. It was almost totally inedible. We came in a little after 8pm, and they close at 9pm. I got a half rack of ribs. They we're dried out, really hard to chew, very... disappointing. Potato salad and beans were good. We've eaten at other Shanes resturants before, delicious! Upsetting. Read more

I am torn because I really wanted to like this place because of the friendly people. But the food was bland! I ordered about... $100 worth of food to go for my group of teens and they barely ate it all. The Mac and cheese needed more seasoning, like SALTand the cut up chicken was not ideal. It was like boneless chicken breast torn or shredded into pieces. No grilled taste ormarkings. The original barbecue sauce on the chicken lacked seasoning as well. Good addition to Forsyth is going bad fast. As most new restaurants do, this location did a great job when they recently opened.... Oh my, they are absolutely sliding downward quickly. The food is often under cooked or served at room temp. My last trip justnow was the worst and I am unlikely to be back. We waited 45 minutes for an order that never came. The cashier was surprisedwhen we asked for a refund and no one even attempted an apology. After she reluctantly gave a refund. I realized she shorted myrefund $5. STAY AWAY FROM HERE until they get their act together. I wish I could give Zero stars. Read more
