This is going to be a review of the Hotel. Was trying to get to the northeast corner of the California. Spent one night there... after a 5 hour drive. The rooms are basic but comfortable. You share a bathroom with everyone on the floor. A bed is a double size bed. The wifi is good. There is a shared coffee station and fridge. When I come back, I will stay again. Read more
We had a special Mother's Day lunch here and the service and food was excellent. Was a atmospheric snowy day and the indoor... warmth added to the attraction. Best perhaps to book in advance on special occasion days as it can be quite popular. Highlyrecommend the Ribs! Read more
Finally got to take my wife and mother-in-law to this awesome place. We arrived at 11am for breakfast which they serve all day.... I need to let you know, I'm a Chicken fried steak and gravy fan (freek to be exact). Obviously that's what I ordered. After weordered, my wife asked what the loud hammering sound was. I told her that was my steak being tenderized. They use local beeffrom Circle Bar Beef. The eggs were exactly as I ordered, the potatoes were seasoned like nothing I've ever had before, sogood. Then the Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy, WOW! The taste of each item from the steak, the breading, to the gravy ingredientswas so good I continued,, very slowly to indulge myself with the BEST CFS I've ever had. My compliments to the chief!!! Theservice was excellent, drinks were always full, and Paula never disappeared. She made it a point to be sure we were well caredfor. April 2019 The food was absolutely off the hook the ribs fell off the bone buddy of mine couldn't finish his pulled pork cuz it... was so large and my other Buddies meatloaf vanish like magic if you're anywhere near this place you have to stop in and trytheir food. March 2020 went back and was so glad to see they were still in business. This is a great place to eat and thepeople are so friendly. This was the last place I got to take my dad before his fight with cancer ended. I have reviewed the place under Fort Bidwell... Inn but once again tgis is a 5 star dining establishment. The food was among the best I have ever had and the atmosphere wascowboy hospitality at it's finest! Read more

The food was absolutely fantastic. The BBQ is advertised as being on Weekends only, but there was enough left over on hand for... me to order the Ribs special on Monday night. The dinner was beyond excellent, everything was delicious. The mashed potatoeswere great, potatoes au gratin were very good (even the next day too, cold.) The ribs were smoked outside on a pit, not usingliquid smoke. The vegetable side was amazing as well, I'd order everything again. Great people and great service. Read more
Breakfast was fantastic, I had a huge breakfast burrito, filled with everything. Service was great, very friendly. I'm so glad... it was open when I was exploring the area. I'd like to stay at the hotel one day too, the rooms look really nice. Read more
