If there was a stereo type for what a fish and stake restaurant looks like, then this checks all the box's. On the water, check,... near fishing bosts, check, 2 stories, check, old and looks have never changed since opening, check. The looks and location donot detract from the food or service. All the food was fresh and met expectations. The only marks against the food was theveggies on the pasta was bland and hard. Need some attention there. The clam chowder was good but a little heavy-handed withwhat tasted like rosemary. Servers were friendly and helpful so top marks there. Overall good place if looking for a place forseafood or to host a large party. Read more

All the food we had was spectacular. Our waiter was awesome. Attentive without being overbearing. Even gave us free desserts for... our anniversary. There was a young lady that would clear our dishes and ask if we wanted anything and each time we requestedanything she went straight to our waiter, told him what we wanted and the next thing we knew there he was with what we askedfor. We had been there 16 years ago for our 20th anniversary and had just as wonderful experience. Look forward to going back. Read more

Overall, atmosphere was pleasant! The venue had a wonderful view, which makes it unfortunate that the food was subpar at... best. The location, the vibe, and the staff lead one to believe that the food must be on par with the overall presentation andimpression one gets from walking in. Unfortunately the food was unremarkable at best. My wife ordered a "grass fed New Yorksteak" cooked medium. What she got was past well and most certainly chuck eye. As someone who raises, cuts and wraps beef, I amcertain this 37.00 cut was likely select grade (choice grade on a good day) from a commercial restaurant food servicedistributor. The calamari had good texture, but was under seasoned. The hamburger was redeeming and cooked to order, but againnot impressively. The cioppino broth was great, noodles al dente, however for a 40.00 dish the seafood was sparse and consistedof two (that's right 2) pieces of prawn, 4 clams, 2 oysters, and a 2oz piece of cod. The bar service was great, the waitresswas great, although service was scarce and infrequent. If you're looking for good seafood, I would recommend sea pal cove whichis walking distance away from this location. Otherwise, if you're looking for a good bar and a view this place will serve youwell, just avoid the menu. Read more

This place is phenomenal. The staff are so kind, they seated my fiance and I at their best table even though we didn't have a... reservation (and trust me, you need one - that's how good they are!) The catch of the day is superb, their drinks are great andthey do one heck of a impressive job. You pay for your quality here, and it's REALLY great quality! Read more

An incredible experience! We went hoping for some good seafood. What we got was one surprise after another. Our waiter was... Javier and he was the best, most attentive, most thoughtful server I've ever had. He recommended the catch of the day (anamazing grilled salmon, asparagus and rice) and I had a bay shrimp civiche as an appetizer. Not an exaggeration to say that thesalmon was the best I've ever had. My wife got the cod and chips. They were lightly fried, full of flavor and very tasty.Highly recommend this place. I will absolutely be back the next time I'm in town Read more

I tried to make a reservation a week prior and was told I couldn?t unless I had 4 or more people. When I arrived I got sat in... the darker back corner and told window seats are for reservations only. I told them I would wait till a window seat wasavailable. As it wasn?t fair for them to be for reservations when an average couple can?t have it. Besides the inconvenience, which the hostess handled well, the staff was great! Food was fast and amazing. View was beautiful. Got the crème brûlée as abirthday desert, was amazing! Will return but hope to be able to make reservations as couples and not deal with waiting for over30 minutes for a good table. Read more

I?ve been coming here for years. Food is always good and service is usually good. This last time the hostess and bartender... were great as usual. Our server was not. Very dry personality. Also I requested to add a protein to my dinner selectionunderstanding it would be extra and was told I couldn?t do it because there is no button for that in their machine. We orderedoysters and they were 1 inch. We were very surprised at the size. I recommend asking the size before ordering The otherdishes we ordered were good as usual. Read more

The food was just DELICIOUS! excellent customer service, and nice atmosphere. I recommend making a reservation, especially if... you want a window view. The outside and around don't look good, but the food is worthy ???? Read more
