Been coming to Sandys for years and have had nothing but wonderful experiences, that changed last Friday when me and my buddy... both 22 years of age came in to have some beers. The waitress asked for my ID but never asked for his so we were just sittingthere drinking our beer not causing any issues whatsoever, then the waitress approached us and went full Karen mode because mybuddy was drinking a beer, she then proceeded to take away the full pitcher and slammed the bill down in front of our facemaking us pay for the full pitcher, then kicking us out of the facility. Even the people in the back of the kitchen were verydisrespectful? if you are looking for a nice place to eat on a Friday night I would not recommend this restaurant as thewaitress is a mega Karen. We ordered wings, cheese sticks, and a pizza. We weren?t told on the phone marinara sauce doesn?t come with the cheese sticks or... even offered any so make sure you tell them you would like some. However I was asked if I wanted sauce for the wings, I saidranch and still didn?t get it. She said the marinara sauce wasn?t on the ticket which is why I didn't get it but the ranch wasand still didn?t get any. My wife and I ordered a medium combination pizza that was $10.49 and an order of cheesy bread sticks. The cheesy bread sticks... came out quickly with 2 containers of cheese dip and one marinara, they were quite good, fresh. The mozzarella on the breadsticks was tasty. There was more than the 2 of us could eat. The combination pizza was great with all the flavors you'd want ona pizza: Olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, lots of cheese. The crust was just right, not too thin, not too thick. A bigplus is that the drinks are free, self serve. We got out of there for less than $20 plus tip. Pizza, good stuff. Would eat here again. Definitely try the root beer on tap. Stromboli is very good. I really like the... aesthetics of the place, really cool vibe. Bathrooms are clean and there is a changing table in a spot where moms or dads canaccess it and that really speaks to me. Read more
Great local pizza restaurant. The restaurant itself is decorated with nostalgic Americana themes. We came here for the Sunday... buffet. Due to the smaller size of the restaurant, the selection of pizza was limited. What it lacked in variety, it made up forin quality and taste. Included in the adult buffet is even one beer or wine. They had dessert pizza (Apple) and soft serve icecream. Definitely recommend. Read more
The buffet is good but they don't keep enough pizzas out. It feels like they are waiting you out so you won't eat as much. ... Especially on Fridays when they are busy. They do have a great salad bar. The pizza bar should be full of pizzas from theopening of the buffet to the close of the buffet. Read more
