Pretty disappointing. We ordered 2 burritos and upgraded (paid extra) for the meat - one was fire grilled steak and it... definitely was not that. More of a crock pot texture with gravy. There were no fire grilled marks to be seen. The other was thesweet pork barbacoa. There was hardly any meat in either burrito. 60% rice, 35% beans and 5% meat. The rice was not even fullycooked and was crunchy at times. Should have gone to Chipolte. Their food has more flavor and a better ratio of rice, beans andmeat + other toppings. Sorry, but this was not worth the $30 we spent. Read more

Nice atmosphere, Very friendly staff. They have a new grilled chicken that is awesomely yummy! I had the tostada with the... chicken and the their crema sauce. Really enjoyed it. You get a healthy portion so come hungry or they serve food in a to-gostyle dish and you can grab a lid near the condiment station to bring home leftovers. I would say the food style is somewherebetween Qdoba and Cafe Mexicali, with CM having larger portions but more "saucy". I lean to Cafe Rio a bit more I think. Theonly negative was the air conditioning. Geez Louise it was downright frigid! We elected to sit outdoors even though it wasvery hot. Read more

Cafe Rio was 'What's for Lunch?' on Sunday after church. The order line works like a Subway, but the food is much better. It... moves along. Tortillas are fresh made as you watch, the veggies are fresh daily and the food is served as it would be along theriver which is the namesake. Expect to pay more for this. Dinner for 7 was over $60. The salad was served in a fresh tortillawith a choice of entree meat, and a dressing choice. Rice and beans and steak, as the meat, are upgrades. The dining room islarge and decorated with charming tin ware lighting and other Mexican style furnishings. Cafe Rio is located in a strip mall andthe parking is shared. The restrooms are clean and stocked. Read more
