I was excited to order from here so I did a door dash order. I got a gourmet burrito with veggies instead of meat. I don’t... expect veggie burritos to be amazing but this really tanked expectations. I figured I’d get bell peppers and onions as theveggies. Nope. Broccoli, carrots, zucchini and squash. Absolutely zero flavor. And it doesn’t detail what veggies you’regoing to get nor any allergen info. I’m not allergic to foods but I know several people allergic to squash. No one is going tolet you know they’re allergic to squash when they order a burrito because no one would expect that in a burrito. That’s sodangerous and honestly the veggies in here shouldn’t be in a burrito at all. It’s like you bought a frozen bag of mixedveggies and rolled it up into a burrito. What a waste of money. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! They catered a birthday by party for me and did such an amazing job! They were so easy... to work with and the food was ready to go on time. Affordable and SO DELICIOUS! Everything is fresh and yummy, but the carnitasis next level. If you love great food and supporting small businesses this is a MUST. Read more
Good food, but make sure you check your order. I got takeout tonight, first time trying La Luz. I ordered the taco plate... special. The menu on their website states that it includes guacamole and sour cream, which is specifically why I ordered it. Nosour cream or guac anywhere. Wish I had checked it while I was still at the restaurant. Corn tortillas were pretty bad,completely broke through from the moisture. But the seasonings on the meat were great and overall it was a pretty good meal. Read more
I love this place! Their food tastes very authentic and flavorful. They have this amazing salsa bar that is all you can eat if... you dine in! The medium salsa verde is soooooo good. I go here solely for the salsa sometimes. They have really good prices andsome of the best draft beer happy hour deals in town! I’ve seen some people complaining about the wait time but everything isprepared to order so I prefer it this way because it’s fresh! I definitely recommend eating here. Super fresh Mexican food. I knew because they had about 20 tomatoes roasting on the grill when we came in! Large helpings and... tastes so good! The breakfast burritos were huge and the scrambled eggs were perfect. The service was also very good andfriendly....glad to see you! The house margarita was also very good and comes in a pint glass. Visited this restaurant on 12.1.2020, I am not sure what happened but the chicken in the tacos was old, looked and tasted... recooked. Very expensive for what they offer, paid $38.00 including tip for 4 tacos and 1 nacho, it was a waste of moneybecause, the food was horrible. I would have been better off eating from taco bell however, Chipotle is a much better choice.Don't waste your time and money in La Luz Restaurant. Read more
We came in for breakfast last week. It was very tasty and cooked fresh to order. The place was empty due to ignorant COVID fear,... but the establishment was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate on the pleasantly open patio. If you arereading this to sway your opinion one way or the other, just give it a try and head in. It's worth it. I definitely recommend LaLuz. Read more
ACTUALLY FLAVORFUL AND DELICIOUS. To start, my boyfriend and I have never had a good experience finding a Mexican restaurant in... Fort Collins that has enough spice in the Chile/salsa that actually gives it enough flavor. For the record, most Mexicanrestaurants here are meh. I feel guilty for spending my money on such bland food elsewhere. This is the BEST place to getMexican food in Fort Collins. Being from Texas/New Mexico, I have high standards when it comes to good (new) Mexican food. Thisis the only place in Fort Collins where I feel like I’m actually getting my money’s worth. The food came out fresh,craveable, and STEAMING hot! Also the gentleman working today was SO friendly and helpful. He had a genuine energy to him thathe was excited to work and to welcome us. .
