Vegan options. Chocolate Oreo ice cream, just killer. Creamy and hit just the spot Eve on a cold fall night.

Cool storefront, location, and variety but was served overflowing tiny cups of ice cream and not given/openly provided any... napkins. Melted all over the cups even from the moment I was handed them and had to get napkins at a nearby establishment sincenone were openly available and there was only one service window with a building line. Literally just have cups big enough foryour servings, no one wants to be handed an impending wet, sticky mess. Read more

Great location, disappointing ice cream (specifically the salted varieties). Located in Old Town Ft. Collins, Churn is the... focal point of a handful of restaurants found inside The Exchange, a food market with open seating. This was our first visit andprobably our last. The store itself, modeled after an old fashioned ice cream churn, is quirky and charming. And the laid-backvibe of the market space is worth a trip, but we all found the ice cream to be lacking. We tried the salted oreo, salted peanutbutter cup, and the strawberry. Out of the three, the strawberry was the only edible flavor. Normally I am a huge fan off allthings salted (especially caramel), but the salt flavor was so overpowering that it's almost all we could taste. We ended upthrowing away 4 scoops, then got the kids some strawberry as a consolation. It was good, but nothing exceptional. If we livedcloser, we'd probably give it another try, especially since it has the most reasonably priced kid scoops I've come across inthis area ($2.50/ lil' scoop). But it's not worth the drive when there are other options closer. As for the service, it wasokay. The employee was friendly, though curt, and seemed to be about as excited to be working on a Saturday as I would be (notvery). We went around 3 in the afternoon. The line was long and slow moving, though another employee did show up shortly afterand it sped things up. Still, we waited about 15-20 minutes in line. Read more

My wife and I LOVE Churn! This guilty pleasure could turn into one serious addiction if we don't watch it. :-) We also... appreciate their having Vegan flavor options that fully taste like regular ice cream - seriously! Our daughter has been veganfor several years now and loves to get a special pint for home. Lastly, you can tell that they care about their employeeswellbeing as it shows in the friendly service they consistently provide. Read more

If you want ice cream or sorbet, Churn is the place to go! Not only does it have an incredibly friendly staff (looking at you,... Joe!), the treats and sweets are OUT OF THIS WORLD! ?one of our favorites is the vegan salted Oreo milkshake, and I?m positivethat if you tasted a regular milkshake and their vegan one you would not be able to tell the difference! I dream about the lemonpoppy sorbet - so unbelievably delicious. As an aside, it also feels like a no-brainer to support Old Town Churn because theyare a company/a staff that puts their actions where their mouths are and do things to better the community all the time. Ireally can?t overstate how lucky we are to have Churn in our neighborhood! Read more

Had the ice cream sandwiches. The combos were interesting and they were quite good, but they were frozen solid and tasted like... they had been made a few days ago rather than fresh for the day. Overall, very good, not great. Read more

The one and only - Old Town Churn is the central hub for all things under the ice cream scoop, with an exclusive selection of... adventurous and vegan flavors to choose from. In addition to various sizing and cone options, you can choose to turn yourfavorite Old Town Churn flavor into a milkshake! Old Turn Churn is also surrounded by several restaurants, bars, and friendlydog walking locals. The staff is also immaculate, hard working, and authentically glad to be there. Can't recommend enough.
