Food was totally not tasty there.. totally flavourless.. my halibut came with some pistachios, the nuts has rancid taste. The... other dish we had was the aged steak.. it was liked a thin cheap cut of NY steak hard & dried liked cardboard. Not impressedwith the food there at all. The halibut sushi, the rice they used must be microwaved cos they surely do not sticked together andkept falling apart. Service was mediocre our server was always busy and not around while other servers were more at sight whenwe needed her. We had attempted to check out this place on a Wednesday night and had been turned away by a 50 minute wait! ???? This time we... made a reservation (highly recommend) and went right in on a Friday night. The place was busy but the service still felt alittle slow. We sat on the patio. We tried the calamari appetizer and then a couple of the rolls and some of the nigiri. Alldelicious with interesting takes on some traditional rolls. Their menu overall is very eclectic and has lots of variety ofcuisine so it feels like you'd need to come back multiple times to try all of it before making a true judgement. Overallpleased! We came here the first time during the height of Covid and it was "ok." Today, we came for the second time and the food was... excellent. They have some of the best chowder. I have ever had. The sushi I had was great. The drinks were awesome. Service wasgreat. Read more

I got the lobster stuffed avacado (which was amazing!), the fire flower sushi roll (also amazing!), and Baja fish tacos (pretty... good). The vibe with the low lights was kind of nice, the building was freezing. We got dinner on a slow Tuesday evening andthey seated us quickly, got our orders in when I was ready, and food out to us quickly. Went for Father’s Day and had a great time. The food was great, atmosphere was comfortable with plenty of room between seats,... so we didn’t feel cramped. Great servers, strong mixed drinks, an absolute great time. But…kinda pricey. Read more

The good news is that the food is really good here. Especially their sushi rolls. This is the third time in a row that the host... stand has been pretty impolite… when you can even find them. So you end up seating yourself, they get grumpy, and off wego. Happy hour was interesting. I thought we were getting a pretty good deal on happy hour food, until I realized that theyhave mega small portions, at only a slight discount from regular menu prices for the full size things. They should be up frontwith that. For instance, here’s a photo of nine dollar calamari. Unreal. However their drink specials are really good, and itlooks like you can buy one get 1/2 off of sushi rolls, which is the route I would go.
