We went for the first time over the weekend. Not sure if they were short staffed in the kitchen or if this was normal but wow,... it took forever to get food. It took 30 minutes to our dessert. We were there for 2.5 hours. Our waitress wasn't very friendly.I asked for no sunflower seeds on the salad (due to allergy) there where sunflower seeds on my salad when it came. I asked toget a different one and she was very put out about it. It was like it was a inconvenience for her to make on order differentthen it should come. But other then it taking forever and not the best waitress the streak was wonderful, the lobster not somuch. ???? Read more
It was worth every penny! NY strip melts in your mouth! We sat next to pretentious uppity people with loud mouths, but the staff... and manager very welcoming and efficient. Margaritas refreshing. We'll dine here again and we highly recommend. Read more

This restaurant is a gem. It really sets itself apart from its competitors with high quality food and excellent customer... service. Unlike 99% of American food establishments, this place doesn’t rush customers to flip a table and pull a profit. What does this mean?…..well they will take their time with you delivering a high quality, attentive, and focused experience.This also means you shouldn’t come here expecting an Outback Steakhouse pump and dump experience, where you’re in and out in45 minutes. You come here for excellent food and an outstanding dining experience. I highly recommend this place, their food,and their incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. We love going to Sonny's for a great steak! Friendly staff that are very attentive. The filets are huge, juicy and cooked... perfectly. This time we both tried dessert! Hard to miss with any of the steaks. They serve the turf side but that's not mything. Usually not too busy, they have a bar and some amazing memorabilia!! One important note, they are down a flight ofstairs, so if you can't get down a flight of stairs you'll have to miss all the great food and Atmosphere. Read more
Had a special anniversary planned here and it went well until the main course. The wait staff was incredible. They need to fire... the cooks cooking the steaks. Your a steak house and the shiny star should be a properly cooked steak. They failed at that threetimes in a row serving me a purple rare steak. Happened to other tables the same evening that night. Waste of money I’ve hadbetter cooked steaks at Cracker Barrel. Read more
