Loved everything about this restaurant. Atmosphere, food, and service. The trifecta. Kat was our server and she made sure to... take the extra time to explain everything about the restaurant cause I ask lots of questions. She never rushed us and made sureeverything was to our liking. Decent wine selection by the glass. Food was cooked to perfection. Ordered Hen of the Forestappetizer. Maitaki mushrooms, battered and fried, served with an amazing sauce. The bread board served with a compound butterwas to die for. Overall awesome experience. Will be back soon. Read more

Updating from my last review as we had another meal here. Last time I said it was pretty good despite the high price point for... not being special compared to other places in town and I was looking forward to coming back. It was much more underwhelmingthis time and I won't be coming back again. The herb butter for the a la carte bread was thick with tarragon which wasoverwhelming and had an oil "soup" for dipping that was just a mess and not at all appetizing to look at and was filled withhuge chunks of garlic. My wife and I both got the roast chicken and it was pretty straight forward. The orzo was under seasonedand just tasted like wet pasta. We split fries and they were clearly from a frozen bag. Any "brasserie" worth its salt should beembarrassed to serve those as pommes frites. To end things we got the guava panna cotta and it was completely tasteless exceptfor the guava syrup which was so tart it made our mouths pucker. The Sauvignon Blanc was really good though. The place billsitself as french/nouveau fine dining and charges accordingly but the food is really unsatisfying. They need a menu revamp Read more

I’ll start by saying that we had a wholly positive experience with the hosts, bar staff, and wait staff - all of them were... excellent and the cocktails were delicious. However, we had a really disappointing experience with the food and felt that it wasnot handled well by the manager and that discouraged us from going back. I ordered the salmon and it arrived objectivelyundercooked. I brought this up to the server, who immediately brought me a new portion, which unfortunately was also equallyundercooked. The manager spoke to us and she very defensive and dismissive, claiming that the salmon was fully cooked and theissue was just a matter of my taste and personal preference, even though it was cold and bright pink inside both times. They tookthe entree off our bill, which was very nice of them, but overall the food and the bad interaction with the manager put a bigdamper on the evening. My new Bride and I stayed in the Elizabeth for the night and decided to give this place a try.......it did not disappoint!!! The... food was amazing to say the least, from the perfectly cooked tenderloin to the baked Alaska. Genuinely, what truly made ourdining experience unforgettable was our person who's name is Kim....she was probably the most attentive and sincere person thatwe could have had on our special night. People like her are few and far between, she has a true love for people and it shows.Thank you Kim for your help in making our visit unforgettable ?? Read more
