I have never seen a theater like this. Such a cool hang out spot. Full of all the stuff that would make a first date a win. They... had great photo ops, and live music, as well as a full menu and bar. The sculptures in the back are wonderful too, and like Isaid plenty of places to take photos of you and your friends or family. If I was a local this would be my standard date nightfor a first date. The only downside I saw was the couches in the theater are kinda low, and it was difficult for a big guy likeme, and an elderly person like my wife's grandma, to get out of the seat. But it isn't really a huge deal. I mean where elsehave you seen couches IN the theater. It was also really cool that it was smaller so there wasn't a huge crowd. I liked The Lyric more when it was at the previous location. I?ve given the new place dozens of chances, but I don?t think I?ll... go there again. The only tolerable theater to be semi-comfortable space wise is ?The Big One? but even it fell short during mymost recent visit. It was so hot in there with no AC or even a fan. There was zero air flow and I was sticking to my seat. Itwas gross and definitely not fun. I had gotten a drink that needed a refill due to the heat. But when I went to get a refill(had money in hand), I was informed rather rudely that I?d have to stand in the enormous line of people getting tickets, food,and bar drinks. Each customer was taking at least five minutes apiece and I would have missed the whole movie had I waited. So Ijust went back parched and hot and miserably watched the rest of the movie that I had been looking forward to. Maybe let peoplerefill their own drinks or let people who have a quick request get helped so they don?t miss the movie. I feel like I wasted mymoney and it sucks because I love movies and The Lyric is the only place to see many of the indie and foreign ones. I really enjoyed my first experience at The Lyric. They keep things unique and eclectic which is really fun! They embrace... everyone and have a great inviting vibe. We saw a screening of a dance theatre. They even had a public dance event to start!They had good food, clean bathrooms, a food truck which was a great addition, and plenty of cool space and build out to have agreat experience. It was really fun and I?ll definitely be going back to The Lyric. Read more
Very nice quirky and colorful decor. Many different ambients, good quality live music, pinball machines and a movie theater room... where a band was playing. Outdoors is huge and looks like a great place to go in the summer. Beers are great, Marguerita was ok,Pierogis are delicious but the price doesn't make sense to me ($13 for 6). Out of this world - The Lyric has to be one of the most unique places I've been to, bringing together a family friendly Fort... Collins experience with a whimsical twist. The Lyric provides patrons with a full bar, outdoor/indoor seating, and an affordableoutdoor theater. Such a great place to hang out with other locals. The artwork by locals themselves, the lights, decor, all unique. Break away... from the restaurants and come chill out here.
