Great options! I think the menu may change throughout the seasons. This is a great choice to eat. We were only in Fort Davis... for the evening, and I think we made the right choice choosing Blue Mountain Bar and Grill. I recommend coming here for an earlydinner before the star party at the McDonald Observatory. We were seated immediately, and we chose outside dining. It tookmaybe 35 minutes before any server stopped by our table to greet us and we weren’t told about the wait from the host…so thatwas a bit disheartening…especially when the servers first went to tables of the same size who were seated after us. However,it did seem like the restaurant was super busy. Just our experience. I still recommend the restaurant if you’re visiting! Read more

We shared the brisket tacos, 4 small tacos & spicy ranch water. Sorry y’all but we ate the tacos before we could take pics of... them, but they were really good. The dish we ordered was suppose to come w cilantro rice, but it was missing. We never asked forit either. I also didn’t care for the house sauce (still really good though) on them but my girlfriend liked it. I don’tcare for the sauces. Prices are average. Read more

Nice atmosphere... but that was it. Waaaay overpriced. We had 2 servers that introduced themselves but i had to ask for salt... and ketchup for my fries. I had to ask for a water refill. I specifically asked for burger medium rare (cost $20)and it camewell done... my wife's salmon ($34) arrived undercooked and cold and small. Wine was sour and sent it back. Not trying to be anegative Nelly but for the very expensive prices I thought you would get great food and great service to go with the highprices. Not so. Midway through my meal I was missing dairy queen or some equivalent. Photo is of salmon that was cold andunable to eat due to being raw Read more

Robert, our server was fantastic. The food was amazing. I'm always worried about dining at small town fine dining locations but... Blue Mountain did not disappoint. A must if your staying in the area. They have your classic dishes with a local twist. Thankyou for a wonderful dinner. Read more

Came to Fort Davis for some work and stopped in with the work crew. Very impressed with the atmosphere and food presentation. To... break the ice, we asked our server if he knew any magic tricks and he brought another server (Christopher )who did! Our server(Robert) was cordial, however he was very overwhelmed with too many tables. Something very noticeable was the lack of managementpresence to help the server staff catch up on drink refills and make sure guests were satisfied. The food was still very goodand I think they did the best they could considering. Our server wrote us a pretty great haiku for us. In an upscale restaurantlike this, management absolutely needs to be present on the floor to ensure prompt service. Read more
