The food was as normal, Applebee's food. We like going to Applebee's because they are always great at accommodating my food... allergies. However this night we went they were understaffed, poorly managed. They were backed up on dishes and they didn't havesilverware for us when our food was brought out. After asking 3 different employees about silverware the table next to usoffered us theirs. The only good thing was our server was great. I wish I remembered her name to give her credit. Read more
I had a job interview for a dish washer. The manager was extremely rude and didn't want to hear a word I had to say. I'm... disabled and I think that was the reason I wasn't given the change. I am a hard worker and I need a job. Don't work for thiscompany because they discriminate against people that are disabled. They could really use new management that gives disabledpeople the chance to prove themselves. Read more
If this was based on today only, it would be *5* stars... but ONLY because of the ladies mentioned in this post Ok, so, take... this for what it's worth. We are regulars at this place due to great coupons. Sad but true. That said, the last cpl months theservice* has been absolutely horrid. Like 3 couples there to eat, with 3 or 4 servers & still horrible service. Went to the barto order drinks & refills... Fast forward to today... there was a young lady/hostess/MsFaith at the door & *1* server/waitressMsSara***... could not tell you how many cooks were in the back... but literally *2* people was all we witnessed for most of thetime there today... MsFaith was seating folks, serving food, getting drinks, refils, clearing tables! She was a RockStar!!! &MsSara, doing her job, in and out of the kitchen, possibly making adult drinks, not positive, but we ordered some & didnt seeanyone else behind the bar... these 2 young ladies kept everyone happy, glasses full without fail, & once we got our food,another young lady came out... Now, all that in mind, it was hands down the BEST service we have EVER had while dining there. Weasked BoTH of these ladies over at same time & proceed to tell them about past experiences... and both at same time started toapologize. We had to stop them. We called them over for a compliment!!! & told them how much we appreciate all they were doingtogether today!!! We gave both a nice tip. MsFaith said *no, but thank you, just helping out* we didn't give her much choice!She was taking it no matter what. Only thing we wish we could have done was give them both a much much better tip. Can not saythank you enough to BoTH of these ladies. Both are absolutely some of the best servers we've ever had. & hands down the bestthat I have ever had in FtDodge! So, any of you that ready this. Got my food super quick and everything was absolutely perfect! Easy to walk to from nearby hotels and they have wifi good enough... to watch NASA crash a satellite into an asteroid while you eat. Read more
Only putting one star because no stars isn't a option. Hostess acted like we we're a bother to be seated. When seated we were... put next to a nasty group who wouldn't move their arm from our side of the seats so my wife could sit down. So we movedourselves and sat somewhere else. Then we waited 15 minutes and no body even asked if we wanted something to drink. So wedecided to leave and go elsewhere. This was the last time I will ever go to this location...horrible.... The restaurant was very busy during evening dinner service but our waitress was pleasant and efficient. We had the pretzels for... the appetizer which came with honey mustard and a beer cheese sauce . Th pretzel sticks were soft ,fresh and hot, very tasty. For the entrées we got the four cheese mac n cheese topped with honey pepper chicken tenders. The mac n cheese was basicallyalfredo over penne pasta, mediocre, however the chicken tenders on top were very good. The other entree was the prime beef dipsandwich. Delicious and flavorful, I would recommend this one. Dessert was the chocolate molten lava cake with vanilla icecream, great of course! Price points were good. Overall good meal and will be back! Just a little disappointed with this store. Food was forgotten on the order. I had to send my food back as it was ice cold. ... Server was totally inattentive. This is not the norm for Applebee's. Read more
