You know that you have had an incredible dining experience when you frequent the establishment twice during a 7 day vacation!... Top notch service for my family of 4 from both Zena and Debbie. One of my kids inhaled her fettuccine Alfredo and declared thatit was the 'best ever!' The portion sizes are huge- we left both times armed with leftovers for several meals. This restaurant has nice interior decor. We ordered regular wings and the pasta & salad combo from the lunch menu. The portion... was good for our small appetite as we had a late lunch. This is our first visit at The Barrel Restaurant in Garrison, Fort Erie and it will not be the last. Our best compliment to the... staff who is serving us Kaitlyn, very pleasant, always smiling and we received an excellent service. When it comes with thefood, it?s all homemade, my hubby had liver and onions with the chicken soup and mashed potato, superb dishes. I had myfavourite veal parmigiana and it?s the best veal parmigiana I ever had since been living in Ontario for 40 years. This was our first visit and will NOT be the last. We lived in Welland all our lives and just recently heard about The Barrel. I... had the chicken souvlaki. It?s the best I?ve had since the original Fireside closed in Welland. My husband had the chickenparmigiana, amazing! and our server Ida, what a gem. We came to Fort Erie for the weekend (my wife, son and I). We were at the hotel deciding what to have for dinner as we were... tired and didn't want to go out. Well, thanks to Google reviews, we decided to order from The Barrel. What a great decisionit was. Since we called in to make the order, the female person on the phone was very pleasant to talk to, very polite andprofessional. Their delivery was very fast and their food was out of this world. If the food was so good for delivery, I canimagine how awesome it would be to dine-in at The Barrel. We will definitely order again and we will go to their restaurant assoon as we have an opportunity. Fully recommended ???????????????????????????????? Two stars because the salad dressing was so good we bought some the bread was good too, but the pasta and meat sauce was the... worst I have ever tasted grocery store sauce is better than the one we were served it tasted like raw tomato paste it was redderthan any sauce I?ve ever had and it was loaded with sugar. My friend and I were in Fort Erie and it was lunch time so afterreading reviews we decided to give this place a try. So very disappointing save your money and go elsewhere. Read more
