Haven't been since before covid, not a great experience. Waited at least fifteen minutes in line, only one family ahead of us... getting ice cream. Not ever acknowledged that we were there or that someone would be with us, nothing, never turned around.Finally ordered, short wait for food but we both got a butter burger with cheese and I got a regular bun and he got the butterburger bun?? Culvers is like the perfect combo of fast food meets restaurant. The service is really fast and efficient. The food is really... good and doesn't taste like other fast food places. They're known for their burgers but don't sleep on their fish, pretzelbites, or onion rings. The prices are very reasonable. Read more
Best cod I've ever had. I would prefer a hot diner roll to a cold one though. At least warm. Chili was awesome. Good fries but... warm at best. 29.00 with water to drink, all the food has to be hot. Read more
It wasn't the friendly atmosphere that I had before. Cashier who took our order made us feel like we were inconveniencing her.... Burgers and shake was great. Cheese curds were way over cooked. Read more
All the reviews I read were true; Crispy fries (well-salted but not too much) Tasty burgers with fresh beef patties and... buttered, toasted bun Veggies (deluxe?) And tried the deep fried cheese curds, and they were goooood. Dip em or just pop em Allin all, when you add on the table service, and throw in a frozen custard (so good but I was so full)it really does make thetypical fast food experience seem shoddy by comparison. Their food has been hit and miss lately. Not sure what the deal is. Sometimes the food is lukewarm and tastes like it's been... sitting there for a while. In the past, I have tried probably 1/3rd of the menu and it's all been pretty good. From beefburgers to chicken to fish. Everything is usually fresh and seems made to order. I USUALLY get everything I've ordered... it'srare that we don't. Service is mostly fast and friendly. It's not Chick-fil-A friendly, but I'll allow it :) The restaurantis always clean inside and there's plenty of seating. There's rarely a wait to order as well which is awesome, but there can bea wait for your food. I'll wait for fresh food though. I can't even begin to tell you how awesome the custard menu is. Aflavor for every day of the month, then some. Its better than fast food if they are on their game. If not, you'll bedisappointed. Read more
My husband had a fish sandwich and I had the build your own ButterBurger with lettuce, mushrooms and tomatoes. My husband really... liked the fish and said it was of good quality. For me, the beef patty tasted good. However, I didn?t get too much lettuce.Maybe I should have asked for extra lettuce. I also found the burger was a bit greasy overall. The restaurant and its washroomwas very clean and tidy. The server, Nick, was very friendly and happen to be an Elvis impersonator!
