Intimate and Private. Cedar Knoll offers delicious American and French cuisine with waterfront views. Please request the window... seat and come early for a gorgeous view. We started with delicious fried goat cheese and harvest salad. The Local oyster Stewand Pan roasted Rockfish was super yummy. We hosted our wedding reception at Cedar Knoll. The day of was beautiful and staff made us feel like royalty. The facility was... set up beautifully and the food was all anyone could talk about. Our cake was delicious as well. We had about 110 guests andreally could not have accommodated any more than that (with a dance floor). I would also recommend hiring a separate weddingplanner if you book Cedar Knoll as communication and logistics were a challenge to nail down. We did have an outsideplanner/coordinator and I don't think we would have been able to execute everything without her. Read more
We miscommunicated and, realizing we missed our reservation, called 1 hour before closing - after checking with staff they... accepted our arrival 45 minutes before closing. We didn't realize they were running a Father's Day fixed price special - what agreat surprise. The special allowed us to sample pretty every thing on the menu - all of which I had wanted to try. All disheswere well prepared and delicious but the standouts for me were the Venison Carpaccio and the Seafood Stew - both of which I willbe ordering in the future. Though I'm not a desert eater the Root Beer "float" was I great take on the classic and the cookiescompleted the Father's Day theme. The only thing better than the food was the staff - very accommodating, attentive andgracious for a couple of late-arriving goofballs who didn't communicate very well. I went here for a private event and I bought three glasses of wine which were not included in the private event. That cost me... $60 with a proper tip. Three glasses of wine! Maybe I should give it less stars than I did but I do really love this place. Ijust wanted to warn people about the expense of three glasses of wine being over $50 Maybe I didn’t ask what the cheapervariety was and maybe I ended up getting the more expensive type. Thoroughly enjoyed Thanksgiving 2022 lunch at Cedar Knoll. The flavor of the shredded turkey leg was unbeatable. Everything... tasted great-a real thanksgiving feast-with beautiful views.
