We arrived toward the beginning of lunch, about 12:15pm. We were told there was no white bread available; we?d have to wait. We... took the whole wheat. Dry, stale; I would guess two days. When I told the manager about it, he blamed the nice girl at thecounter (who was the one redeeming factor at the establishment) for leaving it in the oven too long. No; it was stale. Absolutely love them! The bread is so soft and good. Used to work in the building that this place is in and would come down for... lunch a lot. When I came back to the area many years later to work again, I stopped in for lunch....the owner remembered me fromall those years later! Since its paired with Carvel ice cream parlor, my co-workers, back then, would go for weekly ice creamspecials. The owner even remembered most of my co-workers.I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches back then and they are still justas good. I give this place very high marks for sandwiches and ice cream. Read more
Horrible hotrible representation of a club blimpie sandwich. Stale bread that crumbled in your hands, one sliver of thinely... sliced turkey half a slice of thinly sliced ham, one slice of tiny tomato, 2 slices of onion & mayo, no lettuce. When itcalled for only oil vinegar and oregano. BiG FAIL!!! $14 plus tip & delivery $26. No return call. Read more
