Evening visit. I didn't feel up to cooking dinner so my boyfriend and I decided on West Indian food. Love the selection of... meals. Stew chicken, curry goat, jerk pork, jerk chicken, soup, different selections of patties, veggies and boild food servedthroughout the day. Love your bun and cheese! Location is definitely in a good spot right off I-95 and Broward blvd, in theWalmart plaza. For those who are car less delivery is an option or city transportation (bus22) stops directly in front of plaza.As far as customer service the two young ladies were ok, very quiet with no smiles but very efficient. This was the worst Jamaican food I've ever tasted. Everything was bland and tasted weird. The oxtails were overcooked and too... sweet. The rice and peas tasted horrible. There were barely any peas in the mixture and the rice was very plain. I would notrecommend this place. Read more

The curry was kind of bland. The rice and peas was on point. The server we had was very nice and friendly. I just wish all... Jamaican restaurants wouldn't have such a copy and paste model for meal options. Everyone doesn't season the same or use hormonefree chicken, but all use the same trays and portion sizes. I bought my fiance a small lunch take out. I was so upset he couldn't digest the jerk chicken it was very dry/tough to chew. He... said it tasted Iike sand paper going down his throat. He said he believes it was leftover chicken from a couple of days ago/wasnot fresh. He had to throw away his food. When you go to Golden Krust they dig from the bottom of the barrel instead ofbringing out more fresh food. I'm so upset because that was his lunch I bought him to take with him because he drives OTR. Hestill had to eat at the nearest truck stop. We won't spend our money there again. I gave 2 stars because the peas/rice &mac/cheese was edible. We had GK delivered and was very satisfied with the food. When ordering through Doordash some if the items were missing in... comparison with the GK site itself. Beyond meat patty was delicious! Great Jamaican/ Caribbean food! This place never disappoint. Usually order take out for home, but ended up eating them in the... car because they are so good. Oxtails and curry goat are among the best out there. So flavorful, with meat falls of thebones. Make sure to have some room for patties as well.
