My husband took me here for my birthday and we really enjoyed it. Our waitress was awesome. my husband stated his steak was the... best he's ever tasted. I tried the Golden Pineapple cocktail on a whim even though I typically don't care for Hennessy. I waspleasantly surprised with it! The salmon and the brussel sprouts were also AMAZING! Ordered the Wedge salad because I've been craving one all week. Have tried this specific salad at a quite a few other places in... South Florida. However, I wanted to try Morton's because I assumed it would be amazing. So I ordered it all excited and waited. Boy was I wrong. How is a purported top notch steak house cheap with their salads? . I had to take a picture because Ihonestly was beyond disappointed and annoyed. Any person that you asked about what makes a wedge salad tasty would tell youit's the combination of the fresh lettuce coupled with the egg; bacon and crumbles. Well this picture was taken to show theONLY thing that there is an abundance of on Morton's wedge is the iceberg (about a quarter of a full head of lettuce) and thecheap tomatoes that I don't eat. So to summarize they gave me about $3 worth of lettuce and $1 or $2 worth of tomatoes. Everything else that usually makes this salad amazing was literally microscopic in proportions. I started to cut into it afterwaiting an hour only to get so upset I wanted to drive it back up to the restaurant myself. I used to come to this locationall the time for business and personal dinners. It used to be an amazing establishment. But somewhere along the line somethingchanged with the pride they take in providing exceptional food. This makes me sad to say there is nothing top notch about anestablishment that allows food of this low quality level to go out of their restaurant. Beyond disappointed. Omg where do I start. This was my first time here and let me tell you I will be back again. Spent $230 on dinner for my... anniversary and the food was well worth it. The staff is great. Went to Morton’s last night, with my fiancé, for my 30th birthday. My first time and it was amazing. Personalized birthday... message on the menu?! Never seen that before! It took me by surprise! I loved it! The atmosphere was amazing, as well as thelovely hostess (I wish I got her name) & our server Natalie. Natalie made my fiancé and I feel so welcomed & she was sohelpful. If I’m ever in Ft. Lauderdale again, I’m definitely requesting to have her as our server again. However, I wassadden to see how she was treated by a table sitting across from us. Disgusting behavior, Natalie DID NOT deserve. I wish Ispoke up, but I was worried it would have made the experience for Natalie worse. She deserves so much praise for dealing withsuch disrespect. No one, and I mean NO ONE, should be treated the way she was treated. But she dealt with them with such grace.I, being a server myself, would have not been so generous. We even tipped her extra in cash just to make up for whatever theydidn’t tip her, if they tipped her at all. But all of that aside, thank you for such an amazing experience. Where do I even start?!?! First, I made reservations on the open table app and they asked for what occasion as well, which was... my fiancé's birthday. A day before the reservation they called to confirm we were still coming and they also told me they willhave dessert and his name printed on the menu, which was very nice of them!! Oh also, they mentioned that it is only BUSINESSCASUAL so I wore an over sized blazer over my dress. I gave it a 4 star because the guy that seated us was not very nice at alland he just grabbed the menus and looked at us and expected us to know to follow him without even telling us anything. However,our waitress was really sweet and we found out she was also from Jamaica like us!!! She definitely turned the night around andtended to us when she saw it was needed. Where do I begin? You do need reservations otherwise you will end up having to wait on a busy night. Hostess were kind &... friendly. Service and food were phenomenal. We are locals so we will probably be here a lot more. We started off with the baconwrapped mussels & a caesar salad. Our entrees were the rib eye & salmon. By far the best tasting salmon on a bed on green beansand a delicious tasting cream I cannot describe. The salmon on top had a nice crispy taste (I do not know what it was) our sideitems were jumbo grilled asparagus & lobster mac & cheese (WOW) & our waiter Joel recommended the warm lava cake with a scoop ofvanilla ice cream. Exceptional service from the hostess, waiters and manager who help us celebrate my boyfriend birthday. the picture was a nice... surprise at the table. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly.  From the onion bread, lobster macand cheese and both steaks we ordered was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the Kansas steak and I had the Cajun dry age steak. Youcannot go wrong with either choice. I really appreciate the fact that they made our visit memorable. Highly recommended ???? Read more
