Dinner for two by a canal. We had a good time given the ambiance. Our server was excellent: He had an interesting lack of... affect, but he was more responsive than the others and worked really hard. They have a pretty decent selection of wines. Thelittle muffins they brought were yummy.The partially poached shrimp was great. The ceviche was okay- a little more fishy than Iwould like. The Caesar salad was good with fresh lettuce. They only had oysters from the east coast and about a third of themwere not too fresh so we didn't touch those. The sea scallops were overcooked. I have mixed reviews on this, but overall really great. Get the burger, with a Tuna Pizza app. Shawn is phenomenal bartender,... really helped us out. The other woman bartender was abrasive and kinda rude so it offset how great Shawn was. Otherwise, 5 starreview. Ladies drink free on Thursdays as well. Read more
My wife and I went for brunch, absolutely amazing. From the appetizers, we had a very scrumptous crab cake and the most tender... grilled octopus. We also got a variety of drinks, everything came out wonderful. We got the steak and the lobster mac andcheese which came with so may pieces of lobster. Probably half of the mac was lobster which we rarely see so that was also agreat item we ordered. We will definitely be back with friends. Great atmosphere, food and drinks. Definitely going to be addedto my top brunch spots in Fort Lauderdale. Read more
Lovely place to have lunch on a sunny day, with great views of the new river and the passing boats. What we ordered was... delicious. Server was friendly and helpful. They have outside and inside seating. And an outside bar that offers a happy hourmenu. Read more
TL;DR: Nice view, nice food, friendly service, we will be back! Longer version: We tried to book a table for 4 on a Saturday... mid/late afternoon to watch the parade boats, for some reason when calling, the waitress was saying they were completely booked.However we managed to book on OpenTable and the day of, they were far from having all tables used up. Weird. We started ourdinner at 4PM. The tables outside are very nice, you have a view on the canal, people strolling around, and no car! A greatterrace with a cool vibe. Our waiter was nice and service speed was good. The food was tasty, I had the such pizza which wasdefinitely original, I posted 2 pictures on this review so you can see the outside and inside which are both interesting. A musttry! I also took the mac and cheese with truffle, it was tasty! The cocktails were good, but I'd say a level bellow the foodlevel. Loved the location and decided to come here for lunch. Sat at a beautiful table outside, the weather was absolutely perfect for... outdoor dining. Our waiter was great up until I asked what non-alcoholic drinks they had. He looked at me in such a way I feltinstantly disrespected. My husband ordered his lemonade and I was still deciding. He brought my husband's drink, I then orderedmy strawberry lemonade and we ordered our food. At least 15 min passed and I still had not received my drink. I finally had tostop the waiter and ask if my drink was ever coming. He apologized and brought my drink within minutes. Our food then arrivedand appearance wise it looked amazing. I was slightly disappointed to see only 3 shrimp on my salad especially after knowing thecost of the salad. The salad and shrimp were good, but not for the price. The mac and cheese was sub-par. Came to Salt 7 with family for lunch. We had nice time and sat outside by the river. Their menu is on point and has something... for everyone. Great steak options. I like like their outdoor bar set up an an independent structure away from the building. The staff was kind and welcoming. My server was really good and engaging. I recommend this restaurant because it feels morepersonal rather than many of the broward chain restaurants in the area. Read more
Impossible to give S7 anything less than 5 stars. Phenomenal location. Countless pretty people. And did I mention the food was... off the charts good? If you are anywhere near Southern Florida, you must stop by. You will not regret it. Read more
