Can't believe it took me so long to find this place! Was craving Bossam and tripe stew, and this place happened to have both on... its menu, so we decided to try it out. Was not hard to find it in the upstairs of the shopping mall. Portions are huge! TheBossam was extremely flavorful and faintly reminiscent of soy sauce braised pork belly in Chinese food. It came with a ton oflettuce and perilla leaves for extra refreshing, bright, mint-adjacent flavor. The tripe stew was dotted with perilla seeds andperilla leaves. It was extra umami, unctuous, and rich with iron and tripe flavors with just a sprinkle of gochugaru. On a coolfall night when I'm feeling a little under the weather, this definitely hit the spot! Possibly the best and the most authentic Korean food and we have eaten in K-town in Manhattan, queens and pal park. Haemul pah... jeon was very good, and the grilled fish is a must try! This is an edit one month later: Came back here 1 month later. For our20th wedding anniversary, I told my wife we can go to any restaurant in Westchester or Manhattan. She wanted to go back tothis place. I did not disagree. The godeunguh (grilled fish) brings back memories of childhood in Korea. Definitely a must visit for Korean food. Small place that serves a variety of Korean food from stews to Korean dishes, fried... chicken to even homemade dumplings. Came in with another person and had the budaejigae, braised pork, and the pork cutlet setand they were all delicious. The food is not only affordable but the dishes were so large that I basically had to take a lot ofthe food home as I could not finish. Tucked away and hidden on the second floor of a mall. Very reasonably priced and AMAZING DUMPLINGS! Food 5/5 Come here for the... dumplings! Most korean dumplings are packed with glass noodles which Is not my personal favorite as it?s like carbs wrapped withcarbs. However these are just meat and chives yet is very Korean rather than chinese. I love the back bone soup and the hotstone bimbimbap with octopus was good too. Love the char on the rice. He walked us to the restroom with a smile. Once we were done, he was so confused why we were still standing arounduntil we asked for a table.
