Nice to have a restaurant airway side in Ft. McMurray, also a bonus that they're open rather late which is good for those times... when the airlines bump, cancel, or delay your flight... At least there's somewhere nice to have a drink, get some food, andrelax. Service was friendly and food came out pretty quick. One negative (might be all Earl's and not this one specific) isthat a $15 burger should look and definitely taste better than one from McDonald's, Overall, with the limited options for foodon the air side, it's good to see that service was good and there's a view of the apron so you can possibly see your planearrive. Food is awesome, that's why I am rating it 5 star as for staff most the ladies very polite and helpful but one lady miserable... just seemed everything was a big effort,maybe having a bad day. Otherwise decent place food seriously good and portion sizesgood. Read more

Well, I do like Earls in general , but I particularly like this one. It's got a great atmosphere so I find when I'm in for... McMurray I go there to do some work and eat and relax, sometimes well before my flight, and sometimes they even stick aroundafter I arrive. Nice place to have a meal while waiting for your connecting flight. Staff is very friendly and professional. The ambient is very... nice, good music, free Wi-Fi. I?ve tried the Canadian Prime Sirloin which was delicious but too small in my opinion. The sundaewas a good choice as desert. The one good thing was that the beer was really cold. That was nice. It also gains a star for the garlic fries. Those pair so... nicely with the beer. There remain a few issues here. The service isn?t overly happy to be there. This is not my first timehere - the staff don?t appear happy, at all. At each visit the vibe I get from the service is that it?s a drag for them to bethere. The food is pre-packed off a truck frozen and just reheat. Face it - this is a chain and for consistency almosteverything is pre made. The apples are all deep fried variants of the same product, only with a different sauce. The tacos Iordered were ok. Chicken was tender. The avocado was funny - just one chunk. Like a giant wedge of avocado, in a taco. I Googledit and that?s actually the way it?s meant to be presented. Pretty funny to see that so I decided to slice mine in half. Checkout most of my reviews - I don?t often stop in at chain restaurants because they aren?t my thing. They?re quality and freshnessdon?t impress. Lots of deep fried nonsense and sauces out of a bag. They did an ok job but overall lots of work still to bedone. Read more
