Love the food there so much but sadly the service is usually slow a f. Decided to try skip instead of going in. the burger was... requested no Onions or burger sauce instead add ketchup and mustard, an hour later I get the food burger has sauce and onionsno ketchup no mustard and the onion rings never made it to the order. We ended up here when we found out that the Wood Buffalo Brewing Company had closed down - after much exploration of similar... menus at other restaurants we agreed upon Original Joe's. We were so glad we did - we ordered bruschetta to start which wasspectacular; our mains were delicious as well, each coming with TWO sides which is great because you don't have to choosebetween a salad and fries - you can have both. For dessert we had the beignets with saskatoon berry compote - they were unrealas well. The waitress appeared to be the only one working the entire restaurant but was fast, efficient and very friendly. Wewill absolutely be back next time we're in Fort McMurray! Read more
Buttermilk breaded spicy chicken sandwich was a generous portion with Ceasar salad. . The calamari was basic and could use some... improvement in terms of more flavour in the batter and presentation. This was my first time at this location. To be honest is been a while since I visited any OJ establishment. The place was very... clean, our waitress was very charming and very nice to all of us. I didn?t get her name but she had a lot of tattoos; if youget her please tip her good. She listen to our request and was very courteous. The food was brought on time, we were not rushedto order by any means and we took our time. Drinks kept being topped up and we never asked once for anything; it came to as as amiracle and the level of service was above and beyond. The appetizers were in point, nice and warm and just right for our gettogether. The meals were above and beyond. Please try the steak sandwich, you will be blown away by it.
