The best i can say is that it was edible and didn't make me sick. I was hungry with limited options so I violated my own rule... never to eat generic "Asian" food (as opposed to specific: e.g. Thai, Vietnamese, Cantonese, etc). Red Bowl was a good reminderwhy I have that rule. The green curry chicken didn't resemble the dish I've had at dozens of Thai restaurants. There was nospice to it. The chicken appeared to be poached. It’s always good food. Just make sure to check your bill compared to the advertised price, as in my recent experience they did... not align. They also seemed to recently switch up the spicy tangerine beef recipe without changing the menu description, as itused to be tender chunks/cubes of beef, but now seems to be over-battered fried slivers of beef shavings. Also depends who youget, whether or not they charge you $1.25 for a side of sauce… Read more
First of all the food is great, but my experience this time was horrible. I received a dirty cup and I didn’t notice til after... I drunk from it for a little bit. I notice that there were crust/stubborn stains in my cup that I was able to scrape off into mywater with my straw. I called the manager over and addressed the problem with him and he turned the situation into an argument.Then he blamed me for not realizing that “the cups are old”. He literally said “Every restaurant has old cups” in hisdefense, that doesn’t mean it has to be dirty too. I personally think that if you’re not able to clearly see that a cup isdirty, then you should not be running a restaurant. What else is dirty? Read more
Went today for lunch with my sister. It was very quiet at 1pm on a Saturday. Service was very fast and food was hot, fresh, and... delicious. I got the lunch entree and the portion was big, leaving plenty of left overs for dinner. Read more
In town visiting family for the holidays and we decided to get takeout from Red Bowl. Overall the Generals Tso Chicken and House... Fried Rice ordered were great. The side order of Golden Wings (pictured) not so much. Obviously this chicken was re-fried andre-fried in old grease. Wings had an old grease odor. The one star rating is for the Golden Wings. Why would you serve someoneold wings that you attempted to re-fry? Not a good look. I guess they were trying to not waste food by refurbishing these wingsfor another sale. At our expense. They’ll go in the garbage. I had one. Mom had one and yeah we knew we would not haveanymore. No sauce can spruce these wings up. Decent food. Prices are ok. We ordered takeout. Singapore noodles is the favorite here. You can ask for less spicy. We... ordered Drunken noodles as listed on the menu online but when called to order, they informed us that they don't have it. Lomeinnoodles isn't bad. House Fried rice is edible. Read more
Stopped by Red Bowl today with my family. Everything was delicious and the server was great. Even my ultra picky oldest daughter... liked her Lo Mein noodles. Definitely recommend stopping by and giving them a try. Read more
Got take out and it was very delicious! Exactly what I was looking for. The staff was kind and they were very quick!
