First appearance, I thought it was more upscale than I was dressed for. Upon being seated and looking around, I felt better.... There was a mix of dressed up and casual jeans/t-shirt. The service was great, friendly and informative. The wood fired pizzaswere delicious and for dessert we got the S?mores calzone, which was wonderful. The calzone could easily feed 4-8 people. Sampled a new Italian Beef Sandwich that is being added to the menu. It is spectacular. High level. Top notch. We tried... potential beer and wine pairings. where do i start? couple of guys in town for the day. baseball game. uber driver said no to our pizza chain request and said i?m... bringing you to a great Italian place. employees and owner were fantastic, very welcoming. brought out house sample of meatballsand garlic bread. we got a wood fired pizza and caesar salad. can?t stress how fresh and delicious the food was. ordered a hugedessert calzone after. can?t wait to come back the next time we?re in town. thank you for having us, for making us feel sowelcome, and for the amazing food. you guys are the best! The Pizza was great! I ordered a wood fired margherita pizza and It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had... probably because... I mainly get Dominoes. It was expensive and it was a long wait, but It was worth it! I love the atmosphere and all the smellsfloating through the air, the seats were actually soft and comfortable unlike some places I've been and I love that you can pickto either eat outside or inside! Weekend night and no wait. Was Mistakenly served italian gumbo. Would never have ordered it but ate it since it was free. It... was very good! Pizza was very tasty. Server Kim was very friendly and quick. Cutest clipboard for the bill. Even the pizza boxwas pretty. Will come back. Read more
TLDR: If you're looking for friendly service and great pizza, Camporosso will not disappoint, just make sure you skip the... Mojitos. With pizzas, cocktails and couple deserts to go, it was $75 for the two of us. (...for the sake of context, this wasour first visit, it was a Saturday around 3:15 PM...) Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the hostess. We threw her a curveball immediately when we requested a booth. She didn't miss a beat telling us that there were none available, but she'd behappy to clean one off for us and then off she went. She returned with a smile and showed us to our booth. The restaurant wasvery clean all around, even under the tables. Like many places these days they presented us with photocopied single-use menus,that were a bit crumpled. The single-use menus are a great idea, unless you're reusing them, which they seem to be. Aftergetting us a round of waters, our waitress gave us about 8 minutes to talk and look over the menu before coming back to take asif we had any questions and to take our order. Pretty much perfect. Our waitress was incredibly nice. Cocktails are $10 each.I only make a point to mention the price because that was the single worst amateur-hour attempt at a Mojito either of us hadever tried. 3 mint leaves and a small section of lime were dropped into the drink. You have got to muddle the mint, lime andthe sugar/simple syrup together for a bit in order to get that flavor for a proper Mojito. It takes a little extra time, butotherwise you wind up with citrus flavored soda water, and that's pretty much what they served us. I could, of course, have goneup to the bar and stood there during a remake to ensure it was done right, but knowing I'd be doing a review I wanted to havethe "real" first time experience that any other customer would have.
