We stopped in after church on Sunday and was very impressed with the whole experience. Initially, it looked a little fancier... than most Mexican restaurants and we thought it would be more expensive than most. We were wrong. The prices were really nohigher than other places in the area. The service was great and the food came out quickly. We both really liked the salsa. Onewas mild and they also brought a hot one. I liked it. The atmosphere was nice. The service was great. The food was good. My pork shanks were very tender, but didn't ... taste like they had been marinated in their seasons. Maybe they shouldn't be. The black beans were phenomenal. More flavorful than the pork shanks. And the corn was nice too. But the apple pie dessert was to die for ????????????. Just absolutely delicious. For that alone, and to taste the rest of the menu, I would go back again and again. Read more
Been coming here for about eight years now. I used to spend every birthday here before I moved. Recently came back and this... food has gotten even better. It?s a bit pricey for the amount given now, but I guess that comes with the time we are in. Everything is good from drinks to apps to entree to dessert.
