I went inside to order a takeout dinner. The decor inside was breathtaking! I've never been before and I was amazed at how... beautiful everything was in the store. Not to mention reasonably priced. They were prompt to call a server up to take my orderand she was patient and very knowledgeable of the menu since it was my first visit. I throughly enjoyed browsing the storewhile I waited for my order. They have everything from unique candies to Christmas trinkets and clothing and jewelry all verywell priced. My order was up before I knew it and packaged well. It was absolutely delicious and error free when I arrived ho.eto enjoy it. I will definitely be returning soon and hope to dine in this occasion. Immediately seated at 5 p.m. Will was our server and he was definitely a FIVE. Food was ok, but not great. Catfish was a... little overdone but good flavor. Mashed potatoes were still and not warm. But Gravy was hot and good. I wondered if we wereto early for fresh dinner food, with perhaps a lunch reheat. I?m still gonna come back, but maybe not get a to go order. When you come to sit down and eat it is a different experience and... the food taste differently and looks differently. Ordered takeout. 1. Online orders don't accept gift cards, even ones that can be ran as credit. It requires an address and you... can't get around that. 2. That made us call - we called in our order. We forgot to specify we wanted blueberry pancakes (don'tknow if we were supposed to be asked for that or not). We realized our mistake and I called back within 20 seconds of hangingup. It took about a minute to get through the system to get to someone (I have my call logs, I was quick). When I asked politelyto adjust our order I was told that it was too late. It was already sent back to the kitchen and there was nothing she could do.When I pressed (I was shocked because I had just gotten off the phone), I was told that I could order more pancakes separatelyor put the blueberries on the side. I disconnected the call because I couldn't process that they couldn't change something sosimple. So I called back. I asked politely if there really wasn't something they could do to change this, I was put on hold andwas told that they could make that change. Then I was told to make sure to not make a mistake next time when I order my food. Itold her that humans make mistakes, and was told to have a good day. I shouldn't be shamed for forgetting a part of my order,and having to call twice to fix it, or order another order of food just to fix food that likely wasn't even started yet. Good onyou if you can start an order of pancakes that fast. Also why not keep them under a hot plate or send them out with a differentorder? If your online ordering system properly handled gift cards - I wouldn't have had to make such a frustrating call tosomeone who obviously wasn't having a good day. 3.
