Service (we did take out) was fast and *super* friendly even though they were busy! Food is rich and portions are HUGE. At first... we were a little disappointed that certain menu items weren't available (like lunch stuff during weekend breakfast time, madesense), but they offered to talk to the chef to make things happen. Ok.. um.. words of joy. Great food, so unique with the twists on the traditional menu. Service was friendly, kind and fast. We... recently moved to FM and this is the best out of the twenty or so places we have tried from Sanibel to Naples. FK stands forFoster Kids and loved being able to donate and know the community it?s helping. If you are in Orlando, Fort Myers, or Cape Coralyou definitely need to stop. The food was excellent and portions are large! Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The building is a bit rundown... and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, hence 4 vs 5 stars. I also appreciate their mission of helping foster kids. We willdefinitely go back! Read more
The portions are insane. You definitely get your monies worth. I highly, highly recommend splitting your plate (for an extra fee... ????). I saw the pics online,and thought ?pshhht, it?s just the photos?, & almost had to be rolled out the door. All jokesaside, staff was super friendly, quick table turnover, quick food delivery, clean surroundings. I have no complaints. The reasonwhy I?m giving 4 and not 5 is because I tripped whilst I was walking into the restaurant, I think there?s a step by the door.There maybe we a ?watch your step? sign but, I wasn?t looking during my short flight. I think that step needs a betterintroduction. Imagine if I was holding a baby or guiding my grandma & I tripped. Anywhoooooos, I had the loaded red potatoeswith the All Gravy Benny & a tower of French toast.. gut busted. This cafe was recommended by a friend for the uniqueness of the ambience and the quality of the food. I went here for breakfast... when my stomach was on empty. The people working here have such a good attitude, were professional, and friendly. The breakfastmenu had so many good choices, so I selected the avocado toast (nice thick pieces of whole grain) which came with melted cheeseand eggs over easy. I grabbed the bread (forget the knife and fork) and enjoyed it completely. There was actually a bit too muchfood on the plate. This is a great place that also supports a worthy cause. Read more
Our lunch was delicious. We ordered the Reuben and a meatloaf sandwich. The Reuben was the best Reuben I have ever had. The... meatloaf was fresh out of the oven. The service was outstanding! All of the employees were vested in us enjoying our meal. Wewill definitely be returning. Read more
Stopped here for breakfast while we were in FM and were not disappointed! Ordered the Crabcake Grilled Shrimp Benedict which was... outstanding! Son ordered Biscuits & Gravy and scrambled eggs for his daughter! Both enjoyed their meal immensely! You won'tleave here hungry! The portions they provide are enormous! This place was phenomenal!! It's free guys, but please keep in mind, it's not free for them to buy, prepare, serve and clean up!... Be generous with your donations.. they are certainly generous with their portions and service!! First time here, but it won't bemy last!!
