My new favorite restaurant. It was my birthday last night and Harold called to invite us to sit at the Chefs section at the... bar. What a wonderful night. We watched Chef Scott directly in front of us prepare appetizers and desserts and made us extradelicacies and chatted. Good was delicious and staff are so friendly. A night to remember. Read more

Our first visit to Harold?s was a quiet birthday dinner without fanfare and a departure from our normal practice of never... visiting anything untried for a special occasion. The reservation, greeting and seating were each effortless and welcoming. There a quiet, easy ambience more reminiscent of an off-the-tourist beat, one-off bistro that you would find in parts of Milan,Victoria, B.C. or Prague. -- where everyone working there seems to care as much about being there as you do. More important, they care about you and ensuring the best kind of experience you can have as their guest. Wait staff is top-notch. Teamwork isevident everywhere, and everybody takes responsibility. This doesn?t happen without old-school fine dining training. Serverengagement was just right - not to much, not too little, friendly, but not overly so. There is nothing standardized about themenu, which frequently changes in a continuously creative process orchestrated by owner/chef Harold. The results are delicious, the presentation flawless. Steak and fish entrees were both wonderful. Dessert sublime. The quality of the food, service andoverall experience is so high that you have to ask, ?How can Harold?s be this good and so many other dining establishments be somediocre?? It likely comes down to staff being cared for as well as customers, and creating the grace and hospitality of aprivate home meal inside a restaurant setting. Harold deserves the most rewarding kind of success. Read more

Great Staff, wine and menu. I was in town for business and Harold's was recommended. They were able to accommodate my... reservation even though it occured during a wine tasting event. We had the best table in the house for quiet conversation in aseparate room. Very well organized and thought out. Thanks! Read more

Very quaint restaurant with variety of speciality dishes. Perfect portions and flavor was on point. We started with flash seared... octopus and lobster bisque. Our 2 entrees included scallops with an onion risotto and veal shank with gnocchi. Both wereprepared to perfection! We finished off our dinner with espresso martinis although there were a wide variety of tasty dessertsfrom our local chocolate shop, Norman Love. Read more

From the time we arrived until we exited all we can say is WOW. The host staff greeted us with smiling faces and seated us... immediately at a lovely little table. From there we were greeted within a few moments and water was filled. Again all smiles. So far ...perfect. We were met by our server Heather. What a pro she is. Smiling face, again, and off to the wine list we went. Wehad the mushroom soup to begin along with the amazing bread. This is going very well as we realized that we were definitely onto a great start of our evening Delicious!!! My wife had the scallops and I opted for the bone in Ribeye....scallops wereFANTASTIC.... melt down lol....Ribeye almost brought me to another world. PERFECT Medium. I can't remember the last time I havehad a Ribeye so delicious.... THANK YOU! The place was busy with laughter and excitement along with a vibe of unexplainablewarmth. The entire feeling is unmatched in our last few outings. Never did Harold's miss a beat. We actually saw the owner butdidn't get a chance to talk as he made his way to various tables. Not an issue as he is obviously a bit busy. Tyler Carr (GM)stopped over to introduce himself and we had a lovely discussion. We then decided to try the 2015 Viticgio Chianti. Once again,Heather is all about the experience and what a great choice. Loved the Chianti! After dinner we opted for the chocolate cake (don't remember the name....too busy enjoying it). Long story short.... AMAZING EVERYTHING. This is a must try for everyone.Whether a glass of wine or a special evening GO....EAT.... ENJOY... you'll be back We will. Thank you for a wonderful eveningand AMAZING EVERYTHING. ... Nick and Susan DeNoia Ft Myers. .. Read more

First let me start by saying I visit new restaurants about 5x a week and always write reviews for Google, but this customer... service was better than I've ever received. We didn't have reservations and I think 4 people came to check on me in the 5minutes we were waiting. I was never at the old location, but the new one is super cute and intimate. The food was good but Iwas truly blown away by the service. The chef and perhaps he's the owner came and thanked us for visiting and wished us awonderful weekend. My only suggestion and though it is very small, I wished they put another restroom. We will definitely beback. Wonderful experience. Read more
