Found metal shavings in food. We were going to dine in and changed our minds because every single table in the restaurant was... not cleaned. When we changed our order to take out, the cashier was busy taking a phone call in the dining room. There was aline waiting to place their order, and she made sure she finished her phone cal. First time ever coming to a Pollo and it will be my last. I tossed my lunch in thetrash and I was set back a hour in my day. Stay clear of this location. With my review I may be going a bit against the grain here. I have to say I?ve drove past many of these locations since moving... to Florida and finally after 8 months stopped in. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal it was served fast(drive thru) the portion for $8dollars was outrageous! I thought it was 1995 again! Went to the drive thru, they forgot to give us a side, so I ran into the restaurant to get it ( it happens). But my reason for 1... star is the lobby is disgusting! No clean tables. Trash overflowing. Mold on ceiling and ac vents. After seeing this i did noteat the food. Read more

I had Pollo Tropical last year with my daughter in Orlando & I've been craving it ever since! It was soooo good! However, the... one I visited in Fort Myers totally killed that craving. There was maybe 2 or 3 clean tables in the place and it wasn't busy sono excuse for that, the shrimp was not cooked all the way and tasted weird. It was pretty much a waste as I threw out most ofwhat I had. Chain restaurants are a hit or miss and this one was totally a miss. Read more
Food was decent as usual. Better than a fast food burger. Management needs to put a little focus on this store. My visit was... unpleasant and the service was poor. The temperature in the restaurant was in the 60's. Too cold for us Floridians. My meal sathalf made for five minutes while the person behind the counter simply ignored my presence. It was not busy. Finally, the utensiltray had been allowed to run empty. Again, it was not busy. I will not eat here again. I don't trust they follow proper safetystandards if they do not get the basics right.
