I come here every time I?m in town for dinner a couple times a week. Food is amazing reminds me of my favorite German restaurant... back home. Our first and last time here. There were at least 3 servers and not what you would consider very busy. We were seated and... forgotten about. Not a drink, no apologies for the wait. Nothing. We have been meaning to eat at Schnitzel House for years and finally were close by at dinner time. It was not busy on a... Tuesday, but did get more busy by the time we were finished. It is not a fancy place and it is buried in a strip mall that youmight not realize was there, so use your GPS to find the place. My wife had Schnitzel "Jäger" (mushroom and onion sauce) andshe had it with chicken. She chose spätzle and a salad for her sides. She was very happy with her meal. I had Schnitzel"Hollondaise", white asparagus and Hollondaise sauce with the standard pork. I had cole slaw and potato pancakes for my sides.The cole slaw was quite good and the potato pancakes were spiced German, with nutmeg and other spices, so very different thanothers I have had. I was expecting more asparagus and sauce on my schnitzel for it being $1 more than the "Jäger", but ittasted good. Service was good, the food was good. We were glad we finally tried the place. Our first visit and it was wonderful. My wife and I just returned from 3 years living in Bavaria so the bar was set high. The... staff was very friendly and ask if we needed any assistance with the menu. We all ordered schnitzel then choose different sidedishes to try them. All four of us agree that everything was great. The size of the schnitzel was half plate size. So we shareda piece of Apple strudel. Our overall opinion is this place was a really good deal. Read more
