The menu variety is excellent. The food was good and we got our food guickly. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was our... waitress disappeared for a little while and my drink was empty. There was a band coming in for one of the employees birthday, soI don't know if that was the reason or not. Great place to grab breakfast or a quick bite. The salsa and chips were really good but we had to add guacamole, and we were... glad we did. It is tasty! We also enjoyed coconut shrimp, beef tacos (they were ground beef), elote (2 in one order). We alsohad cocktails - old fashioned and a Cosmo - very limey and tasty. It was crowded when we arrived but we're able to be seatedright away since they have tables set up outside. Rafael was our server and he was great. We came here based on the website menu of which several of the most interesting items were not on the menu at the restaurant. ... We just made it for the happy hour margarita and it was good, large and a good price. The order of fresh guacamole was prettygood but the fundito was basically jarred cheese dip. Both the appetizers were supposed to have chips but we just got the freebasket delivered with the salsa (tasty) which we ate thru those and after the waiter saw we were out he said he would get someand were waiting until the cheese was cold. When a item on the menu days comes with chips it should come with chips and notjust the free amount you get without apps. The street tacos were ok but my wife asked for corn and got flour.The chickenmistica looked interesting but was basically smothered in cheese sauce to make up for canned (not sauteed) artichokes and tinymushrooms that also appeared canned with tiny bland rice and black beans. Atmosphere was nice (a lot of locals drinking the night away lol), food was great, service was good but could?ve been better... maybe our waitress was having a bad night. Overall I would definitely come back again. Read more
Very friendly waitress. Food was great, we all ordered something with shrimp and it was cooked perfectly. Will go back for sure!
My son said this was the best restaurant ever he wanted American food which they have and is very good.
