We went there for a late dinner. We split an appetizer. It was the classic combo and I also had a side of garlic mash... potatoes. My appetizer I believe cost $17.99, I could be wrong. Well, it was HORRIBLE. The pieces of chicken was dry, themozzarella sticks was horrible and they give you tons of stale tortilla chips. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. My side of mash potatoeswas dry and tasted funny. Plus we were ready to leave and had to track down our waitress for the bill and the place was empty. Iwent and got a hamburger at burger king because I was still straving. Needless to say we will not be eating at Apple beesanytime soon. Read more
Despite it being almost empty, service was extremely slow. The food was good, except for the Cheeto boneless wings, but I... didn't like how we had to wait for EVER REE THING once we were seated!! From waiting for a server to approach to waiting for thefood to getting the bill to the server coming to get payment. First... let me thank Josh B. Our waiter for being the only bright spot of our visit. Applebee's use to be a great chain of... restaurants. Food was consistent no matter which one you went to. But after the last few visits from Missouri, Indiana, and nowFt. Pierce. Applebee's should take a long hard look at their operation. Food quality has gone by the way side. All you can eatboneless chicken wings... that's a joke. Should be called "All you can eat frozen batter with very little chicken meat cookeddry and hard". Very disappointing. McDonald's has better nuggets, and don't eat McDonald's. I can only hope that one dayApplebee's can get back to what made them so good. Until then, I will not go back to any of them. Read more
Food was great. Website is perfect. Love the interface and easy of use. Service was awesome. I am going back Sunday. Parking was... plentiful for a Friday night and the restaurant was busy but not overly crowded. Was greated by every staff member that made eyecontact and asked have I been helped. Website was simple to understand and navigate through. Double Crunch Bone-in Buffalo Wings were awesome & dessert was... scrumptious. Just like the rest of our meal, the Triple Chocolate Meltdown looked just like the picture on menu, so kitchenstaff, I applaud you all for the delicious foods that are so beautifully put together & plated . Service was a "10". Order wasready on time, maybe a couple minutes early in fact. Our Cashier/To Go Server was friendly, knowledgeable , polite and pleasant, She had order packed neatly, all condiments, sauces, napkins & utensils were in the bag, as ordered through the onlinewebsite.What may seem a minor task to some, can either make for a great dining experience or absolutely ruin a take out meal.Applebee's in Ft Pierce is fortunate to have this young woman working on their team as it is apparent that she takes pride inher job and in the company. It is the service staff at any restaurant that will keep me going back or to become a regularcustomer at their establishment. The food was delicious and the service was good as well. Our server tried diligently to assist. We were sat at a table which had... obviously not been wiped down but our server came and helped me wipe it down with cleaner. We were also sat without menus andagain out server grabbed them for us after putting in drink orders. Didn't expect such a great meal. Double check your receipt if you using a credit card before and after you pay. I remember the young lady behind the bar... thought I was busy talking and felt I wouldn't notice she tried to do a fast one on me, I thre it in the trash but I canget it for you and I say yes I want my receipt but charge my card to someone else meal who was at the bar. The manager wasabout to get an attitude but I pull up the bill on my phone. This happen a few years ago but she still works there. The first time the food was brought out, I had to send it back. The steak was over cook. The shrimp ???? that came with the... steak, were. so small, they could pass as babies. Buy the time my pre-order came out, my onion rings were cold and my beer glasswas empty. So I could not enjoy my hole meal at one time. Received my bill, and there was no adjustment for their screw up. The.Server went out of her way. However, she never got me my butter and sour cream for my mash ???? potatoes. So my rating for thisplace is two stars. And if it wasn't for the waitress, I would have given it a minus one ?. Read more
