If I could give more than 5 stars for my time there, I would. The food was great, but the service was impeccable! Our family... went in for a little birthday celebration, and our server Duane truly made us feel at home! He was kind, and energetic theentire night, he didn?t skip a beat. He really went above and beyond for us, and seemingly every other table he would stop at.I?ve had good servers in my time, but Duane absolutely outdid every single expectation we had. My mother and I were shocked whenhe told us he wasn?t in management, and was solely a server; he took care of the floor as if it were his own establishment.10/10 definitely will be returning, but calling ahead to ensure he?ll be able to take care of us every time we make a stop atthis Outback. Always good food staff was great that's why we go back.
Had a delicious meal here earlier this week and I will most definitely be back. It seems that places are having a hard time... getting quality staff these days. They were a little busy at the time we arrived but instead of asking us to wait the manager (Ibelieve her name was Kailey?) Took us to our table and started us off with drinks an appetizers. It was nice to see someone in ahigher position be humble enough to act as a server to make sure that guests are taken care of and insure that they have a goodexperience. Jessica was our server tonight and did a great job. Personality plus great attitude and made sure everything was going well.... Dana the manager popped by to make sure we were enjoying everything. Service all around was just blah. The greeters looked tired and our greeting was underwhelming. Our waitress didn?t really care... for us. The seating arrangement was not right. They were out of their ?new? item. The atmosphere just didn?t feel comfortable.Overall my takeaway is that if what we experienced continues then there is no way this location can survive. So I have been to this Outback in Port St. lucie on numerous occasions. The picture I took after I had already eaten my food.... The Manager was awesome and very well pleasant. The waiters were awesome. The food had soo much flavor and it was the bestexperience I have ever had at this location. I got to meet the Chef, James and he did an outstanding job on the food. The food was great! The shrimp and the salmon was well seasoned with the creole Sauce!! The broccoli is well cooked and... seasoned. I don't remember the name of my dish lol. The service was great as well. My server was very attentive. Before I couldask for another lemonade, he was bringing one over to me. It was a great experience! Read more
This was one of my more disappointing visits to Outback. The food was good and our server was doing his absolute best, but he... was new and was very obviously struggling with being double seated along with learning how to put orders in on his tablet, heasked the other servers for help on multiple occasions where they said, in front of customers, "No I don't have time to helpyou" this specific waiter he asked then spent the next several minutes aimlessly circling the area. He definitely could've takentwo seconds to help his coworker. I was very disappointed with the lack of teamwork we saw, and even more so when the managersresponse was "they don't have to help you" that's a horrible way to treat your new employees and I hope this man finds a betterplace where his hard work is actually appreciated.
