This restaurant is one of the finest gems in Fort Saskatchewan. A must if you are in Fort Sask, If you are in Edmonton take a 30... min drive to this spot for some of the best Italian food in Northern Alberta. You won't regret it. The chef was veryknowledgeable and provided perfect combinations for food and drink. Modified the food as per my request to the point. Fresh foodand meat products are used, which supports local vendors, which was a big thing for me. Rave!!! If you are wondering where your next meal out should be, 10/10 recommend Modo Mio. I have several dietary restrictions... which makes eating out a nightmare. I asked if there was any dish that could be made gluten free, milk free, onion and garlicfree. Our server came up so many ideas so I had a hard time picking, everything sounded so good. He was so accommodating, Icould actually enjoy a normal meal out for once that wasn't another salad. The atmosphere is rustic and old country, the servicewas outstanding and the food was incredible. Not to mention we had refills without asking and plates cleared in a timely manner.You may think these are typical things for a restaurants but as the serving industry is seeing new generations, some of thesecommon practices have been lost. This is a small Italian restaurant on the corner of the plaza. There was not many people here. The server made sure the whole... family was comfortable. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. The only thing we found is that some of the dishes werevery salty, it might of been with the marinara sauce. Read more

Quiet for a Wednesday, but the food was good and the staff were attentive. The dinner roll was really good, as was the pasta.
