Be prepared to wait longer then expected to recieve your order. Without fail, every time we go to this captain D's the wait time... is lengthy. Tonight I placed an order online for 7:40 pm pickup time expecting to be in and out in no time with food in hand.Upon arrival I told two employees at two different times I was there to pickup my online order. My order was not started untilthe shift manager asked if I had been helped and I told her also I was picking up my online order. The customer that was alreadyinside waiting for his food when I arrived became agitated with how long it was taking to receive his order and had to informthe shift manager he couldn't wait any longer due to being on his lunch break. The shift manager was very polite to the man andmade sure the staff got his order done immediately. I received my order at 8:10 pm. Aside from orders taking too long to getdone all of the employees were polite and the restaurant was very clean. We have had one other issue with this location oneevening when we pulled up to the drive through speaker and were told they were closed (an hour and a half earlier then closinghours). We watched them turn away the car behind us and take the third cars order. My husband called corporate and received acall back from the district manager who was in route to this captain d's location. As she was pulling in the parking lot shestated they were still open and taking orders and if we wanted to come back she would make sure our order was ready however wewere not going back after that incident and went to the perry captain d's instead where we always have great service. Yes, you may be waiting a few minutes for your order. They are making it fresh, not pulling it from underneath heatlamps like a... lot of other places. They communicate with you and apologize if the wait is too long. Captain D's in Fort Valley has somegreat, and kind people working there. This makes every difference to me. I'll wait. Read more

My fiance' and I door dash and the afternoon crew are lil quicker and friendly. The evening crew are rude and so slow. We waited... for over an hour on an order. We have NEVER waited that long on an order, the max is 15mins. Not only did we wait for over anhour, the evening crew are rude and immature. Horrible! Almost 20 mins ago I was served the crumbs from every fish made. I do no appreciate how messed up my order was. No... hushpuppies no okra. Just extra fries with my fish and shrimp. Oh! And the crumbs at the bottom of my place. NEVER AGAIN Read more
My husband went on May 18th & the cashiers were loudly threatening each, overlooked manager, gave a ½ order of Cracklings but... charged the full amount. Also ordered a 3 pc fish dinner but was a 2pc and they were literally 2 fingers thick and short. Thefood was hot but inadequate. Called to complain & was told that's the only size they had & didn't make accommodations for thesmaller pieces of fish. For the amount paid, this is unacceptable. Read more
Good fish dinner and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and a not too crowded atmosphere. What's not to love!?
