I finally got to go to The Railroad Cafe. I was told about their award winning shrimp and grits, and so I had to try that. It... did not disappoint! I did the combo which adds a drink and a side. One of the options for the side is a slice of pie! DESSERTfor a SIDE!!!! Who does that?! I went with the pecan pie and it was delightful! The owners are two of the nicest people you'llever meet. This place has some of the best food in Fort Valley, if your are in the area it is definitely a place you need to try. I have... had about everything on the breakfast menu and haven’t had anything I haven’t loved yet, my only complaint is the everythingis so good I have a very hard time making up my mind on what to order. Good food, good prices, and good portions. It is RIGHT by an active railroad line which I thought was cool; I also liked the... whole vibe. It was very clean, always a plus! The only drawback for me - I didnt like their cheese grits - it was sliced cheeseand I prefer grated cheese; this is just a personal preference. I definitely recommend eating here! Read more
